Arielle's PoV
I had found Noah looking at all of the different blinds.
"What about this one?" He saw me walking down to him and held up a green blind with chickens on it.
"Gross." I heaved. He laughed at me, putting it back.
"What was the phone call about?" He asked. Nosey much?
"Oh, my dad is having a couple of friends over for dinner tonight." I answered with a shrug of the shoulders, examining the blinds.
"And?" He quirked an eyebrow.
"Thats it." I said.
"He told me well done for getting on with you." I laughed, as did Noah.
"Oh if only they knew, Arielle." The way he said my name got my knees weak. I don't know what it was but holy... I can't."Anyway, What colour were you thinking of going for?" He asked.
"Grey or baby pink." I answered.
"Probably baby pink actually because I want to paint my walls a light grey." I corrected myself.
"Not fussy then?" He snickered.
"Oh shut up." I giggled, pushing his shoulder lightly.
"Slight problem..." He began.
"There's only two baby pink blinds. One with hearts and one plain one." He pulled them both out, his arm muscles flexing ever so slightly.
"I'm not five so the plain one please." I scrunched my nose up at the one with hearts. It literally looked like something a seven year old would have up in their room.
"Ahh, one more problem..." Noah put back the blind I didn't want.
"What?" I asked. What could the problem be now?
"We didn't measure your window." He pursed his lips, me fighting back a laugh. What idiots...
"I say we risk it for a biscuit." I giggled, taking the blind away from him and holding it up width way.
"You sure? It might be too big." Noah folded his arms over his chest as he looked at me.
"Nah, it'll be fine." I waved it off.
"Ok." He shook his head, laughing.
"Are you getting one?" I asked.
"I already put mine up the other day." He answered, taking the blind away from me and carrying it under his arm.
"Always prepared." I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Always." He whispered, his face inches away from my own.
"Race you to the paint aisle." I wiggled my eyebrows, running off.
"Hey! That's not fair! I have a blind under my arm." He laughed, running after me.Somehow, Noah beat me even though I had a head start and we were now looking at the different varieties of grey paint.
"Can I help you paint?" He asked.
"You want to help me paint?" I raised an eyebrow. Everyone I know hates painting.
"Yeah, it's fun." He grinned.
"In that case, I guess I could use an extra pair of hands." I laughed, picking out two tubs of light grey paint. Who knew that there was like ten different shades of grey? Not me.I carried the paints whilst Noah took the blind and a rug I had picked up on the way to the tills.
"I thought you were getting some bits?" I asked.
"I can't really be bothered." He shrugged his shoulders. Boys are the complete opposite to girls. It was strange.
"Fair enough." I laughed, heading up to the free till and putting the stuff upon it.
"Would you like a bag?" The lady asked. I looked to Noah then back at the stuff.
"I think we'll be alright, thank you." I smiled sweetly. There was no way I was paying 5p for a bag that was most likely to split as soon as we put the paints in it.
"Ok, well that will be $46 exactly, please." She looked at me. Noah began grabbing the stuff whilst I paid for it.
"Thank you." She said, handing me my receipt.
"Have a good day." She smiled.
"You too." I replied before turning around, taking the paints off of Noah and walking out of the shop."You want to go and get some coffee? I get discount." He smirked.
"Sure. Let's put this stuff in the car first."——————
"It'll be a couple of minutes." Noah joined me at the small coffee table. He had just gone and bought our drinks. I ordered a hot chocolate whilst he ordered a classic coffee.
"Ok." I rested my elbows up on the table, looking at him.
"I like your moles." I blurted out. Ooo, classy.
He laughed at me, his face examining mine.
"I like your lips." He smirked.
"Why Thank you." I giggled, leaning back in my chair and watching as some girl came to our table."Noah." She smirked down at him, placing his drink in front of his face.
"Ellie." He nodded his head at her. I recognised her.
"And, you." She grimaced her face as she handed me my drink.
"I have a name." I mumbled.
"Yeah, Whatever. Anyway, Noah, how have you been?" She asked, leaning across the table and completely turning her back on me so she could engage in a conversation with Noah.
"Good. You?" He asked.
"Perfect." She stood back up again.
"Maybe you and I could meet out back soon." She winked. Oh that's right, she's the girl who Noah was fucking around with at work. I fail to believe that he's only slept with 5 girls like he said the other night...
"I've actually got company." Noah coughed awkwardly, looking at me. I felt somewhat jealous and I don't know why...
"Surely my company is better." She fixed her boobs in her bra. For fuck sake. Could she be any more obvious? Noah shifted in his seat and I knew exactly what he was trying to hide.
"I'll leave you guys to it. I'll meet you in the car." I rolled my eyes, grabbing my bag and drink before storming out.I heard Noah call my name as I left but I didn't stop. I felt angry at him. He could have told her to go away but instead, he thought with his dick and not with his head. Ugh.
As I walked up to my car, I noticed something under my windscreen wiper. Please don't be what I think it is. I grabbed it, letting out a loud groan. Great, a parking ticket. Fucking fantastic.I angrily got in my car, slamming the door behind me and taking a sip of my hot chocolate. It's not even that great. Fuck Noah's coffee place. I'm glad I didn't get coffee when I was there that time. Starbucks is miles better. Sorry not sorry.
