Heyyyyyy...
Sorry I've been away. I've been really busy with work and everything but I've finally updated :)
Enjoy 💜——————
Arielle's PoV"Are you ok? Ever since Jason came over you've acted weird." Noah said as we pulled up outside the nail salon.
"Me?" I snapped out of my thoughts.
"I'm fine." I lied. My best friend has just turned on me and my relationship. Why would I be fine about that? I never wanted to have to pick over my boyfriend and best friend but now my mind is rushing.
"You sure?" He asked, leaning over the gear stick and taking my face in his hands.
"Yeah." I sighed, moving closer and pecking his lips before exiting the car.We walked in hand in hand, a smile spread across Noah's features. I didn't want to be miserable today. We have planned a cute couple day and I don't want my mood to ruin it.
I sat down in front of one of the nail ladies, telling her what I wanted. A nice set of baby pink coffin nails would look great.
Noah was sat in a seat beside me, watching how they did the nails like it was magic. I mean, it kind of is. These people are skilled.
"You want your drink?" Noah asked, taking a sip from my Starbucks.
"Please." I giggled, nodding my head. He held the drink to me, placing the straw in between my lips so I could have a few sips. I pulled back, thanking him before turning my attention back to the nails.About half an hour later, they were complete. Noah's hand was in my own as we walked back to the car, nattering about how bad the nail place smelt. The smell was always my least favourite part.
"What Park Shall we sit in?" Noah asked, reversing out of the space.
"What about the one around the corner from the cinema? We can just walk straight to it after we've eaten." I suggested.
"Sounds good." He grinned, setting off on the journey to the park.
"Should we take a detour and buy food first?" He laughed.
"That might be a good idea." I giggled, not even thinking of that myself. The ride to Target was peaceful. Noah's hand was continuously resting on my thigh, apart from when he had to change gears.
"You coming in?" Noah asked as he parked up outside of the shop.
"Always." I giggled, un-buckling my seatbelt and following my boyfriend out of the car. It felt weird calling him that knowing that to other people, he was just my step brother. If only they knew...I walked beside Noah, our hands brushing ever so slightly. We couldn't really hold hands in here as it was our local shop and the people were pretty familiar with our parents. Noah grabbed a basket, holding it in his hand before walking up to the drinks.
"What would you like?" He asked, flickering his eyes from the drinks and back to me.
These weren't alcoholic drinks, they were soft drinks, which I was kind of thankful for. My eyes instantly settled on the orange juice. I was a simple girl, don't judge. I reached up, standing on my tiptoes, as it was on a shelf I couldn't quite reach, and I grabbed it, tossing it into the basket.
"Orange juice?" Noah quirked an eyebrow at me.
"I like it." I laughed, getting myself another so I could have it in the cinema instead of paying excruciating amounts for some coke.
"Fair enough." He shrugged his shoulders, grabbing a couple of energy drinks for himself.
"You're going to be bouncing off the walls later." I snickered.
"They actually don't have much of an effect on me." He sent me a cheeky grin.
"We'll see about that." I smirked, pushing past him and walking to the food aisles. I was one hungry biatch.Noah followed closely behind, muttering things under his breath about how I should slow down a bit. I stopped in front of the chocolate section, picking out a Cadbury's bar.
"You want one?" I turned to Noah who was already looking at me. He tilted his head to the side, obviously in thought before he shook his head and reaching for a galaxy bar instead. Mmmm... I shall be stealing some of that. Sharing is caring and all.
I placed it gently in the basket before looking over at the savoury section. We're going to need some actual food to fill our stomachs.————
"It looks like it's going to chuck it down." Noah looked up at the grey sky above us. We had been sitting at the park for a good hour already, stuffing our faces with all the food.
"We'll have to make a beeline for the car if it does." I laughed, shoving a crisp in my mouth.
"You're such a girl." Noah rolled his eyes playfully.
"I am a girl so how does that work?" I quirked an eyebrow.
"You know what I mean." He chuckled.
"God forbid your hair gets a little wet, it's not going to kill you." He smirked, taking a sip from his drink. I gasped, launching a crisp in his direction.
"Shut up mr 'oh my hair always looks perfect'." I snickered.Suddenly the heavens opened and big drops of water fell down on to us. I screamed, beginning to gather up the bits but Noah grabbed my hands, stopping me and laughing.
"Live a little." He laughed, pulling me up to standing and throwing me over his shoulder.
I squealed, the coldness of the rain water falling on my exposed back due to my shirt riding up slightly.
Noah began spinning me around before he placed me back down to the ground again.
"I'm soaked now!" I pouted, looking down at my wet clothes.
"Great, now you won't mind if we stay out here a little longer." He winked, his hands settling on my waist before they slid down to my bum, giving it a little squeeze. I gasped before jumping and wrapping my legs around his waist like i knew he wanted.
I laughed, tilting my head back and finally feeling free. Being out in the rain is actually pretty fun.The droplets of the rain splashed upon my complexion, my eyes squeezed shut as I heard the peaceful sound of Noah's laugh. He was happy and that made me happy.
I lifted my head back up, looking down at my boyfriend. I took his face in the palms of my hands before licking my lips and pressing them to his own.
I don't think I could ever get tired of kissing in the rain. It was something so special compared to the rest of our kisses. It was almost magical and I loved it.
