Arielle's PoV
"What are you doing tomorrow?" Noah asked as I walked back into my bedroom, a towel wrapped around my wet body. Noah had kindly let me shower first whilst he carried on with a little more of the room.
"Working." I sighed. I really didn't want to go back. Not now anyway.
"Why?" I asked.
"I have a free day and just wondered if you wanted to do anything." He pouted.
"Dang it." I frowned.
"Tuesday?" I asked.
"Working." He shook his head.
"Wednesday?" I questioned.
"I think I'm free then." He nodded his head.
"Cool, we'll do something then." I said, walking over to my chest of drawers.
Noah watched my every movement as I laid my clothes out on my bed.
"You can shower now." I looked over at him. He coughed awkwardly, placing the paint brush down on the floor.
"Right." He nodded his head.
"Shower, Yeah." He rushed out my bedroom, heading to the bathroom. What? Has he never seen a girl in a towel before?I dried myself down, changing into some grey sweats and a black top. I let my hair out of the little towel hat I made and I allowed it to dry itself. I really couldn't be bothered with the hair dryer.
I scanned my eyes over my bedroom. I had two more walls to paint but they'll just have to wait for another day.Grabbing my phone, I left my room and went downstairs where I saw Dad cooking up dinner.
"How long will dinner be?" I asked. I was pretty hungry.
"About 10 minutes. Can you set the table please?" He sent me a look. I nodded my head, walking towards the table and laying out the silver place mats. I then grabbed some cutlery and setting it out on the table. As I did so, the front door went, Kelly's voice filling my ears.
"Hello!" She called.
"Hi, Hun." My Dad left the food, walking to the hallway and greeting his girlfriend.
I smiled at the two. I hadn't seen my dad this happy in ages.Kelly then appeared in the kitchen, tying her hair up out of her face.
"Hello, love." She smiled at me.
"Hi." I grinned.
"Nice day at work?" I asked.
"Yeah, it was good thank you." She answered.
"I'm just going to get out of these work clothes and then I'll be back down." And with that, Kelly walked off upstairs.
Not long after that, we heard a scream leave her mouth. My dad and I shared a confused look, rushing up the stairs. Then we heard Noah scream. Oh god.
"Everything ok?" My Dad reached the top of the stairs. I couldn't see what was going on yet.
"You need to learn to lock the door!" She exclaimed. I was guessing that she walked in on Noah showering. Embarrassing.
"How was I supposed to know that you were going to walk in on me?" He asked. My dad turned around, laughing.
"I thought you hurt yourself." He walked past me, heading back down to check on the food.
I took my dads place, watching as Kelly walked off to her bedroom, mortified.
Noah soon walked out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his waist. He noticed me and smiled, doing a little dance.
"You like what you see?" He whispered.
"Your mum obviously didn't." I smirked.
"Oh shush." He chuckled lightly, pecking my forehead before scurrying off to his bedroom. And that my friends, is why you always lock the bathroom door after yourself.
I headed back into the kitchen where I finished setting the table and laying out some plates and glasses.Soon enough, we were all sat around the table, digging into our carbonara. Mmm... it was good.
Noah's eyes settled on me as he took a mouthful. I quirked an eyebrow, copying his actions.
"How long had you been painting your room for?" My Dad created conversation.
"A few hours." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Noah offered to help once he got home from work." I added.
"That's sweet of you, Noah." Kelly smiled at her son.
"What can I say? I'm just amazing." Noah smirked, flicking his imaginary hair off his shoulder earning a laugh from us all.The rest of dinner was silent but enjoyable and I had now found myself laying on my bed, stuffed. I ate a hell of a lot of food, I'm surprised I made it up to my room to be honest.
Suddenly my door opened and Noah's head peeked around it.
"Knock knock." His voice was quiet.
"You could have actually knocked, you know?" I sat up, looking at him.
"That's no fun." He shook his head, slipping in the room and heading towards my makeup desk.
"There's a lot of these." He picked up a makeup brush, swiping it on the back of his hand.
"They're very useful." I smiled, getting up from my bed and walking over to him, taking the brush and putting it back in my pot.I smirked as I straddled Noah's lap, his hands rest on my hips.
"This gives me deja vu." He bit his bottom lip.
"It does?" I asked innocently, knowing exactly what he was on about.
"Mhm." He mumbled, his hands moving up my arms and to my cheeks, cupping them.
"I'm so bummed that you have to work tomorrow." He stuck his bottom lip out.
"Don't miss me too much." I giggled.
"Oh I won't, peace and quiet for three hours will be a delight." He smirked, his thumb caressing my cheek.
"Six hours." I corrected him.
"You're joking." His eyes went wide.
"I wish I was." I laughed, my fingers playing with the hair at the nape of his neck.
"Well then-" he began, his hands slipping under my thighs and standing up, me wrapping my legs around his waist.
"Looks like you'll have to make up for all the hours I'm going to miss tomorrow." He placed a kiss on my neck.
"I've got stuff to do." I laughed as he began to carry me towards my bed.
"It can wait." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Five minutes." I laughed, rolling my eyes playfully.
He hummed against my neck, kissing it again before we fell down to the bed, Noah hovering over my body.
"Five minutes." I repeated myself, giving him a stern look before he placed his lips on my own, a soft moan escaping my mouth.
