Arielle's PoV
Noah and I had changed into our clean pyjamas before wandering downstairs to get cheesecake. We were now in the front room with our parents, eating the slice.
"What is this?" I asked, heaving as I watched people crawl across the floor, their faces sewn to the backside of the other person. Dad and Kelly were watching some weird ass film.
"The human centipede." Noah answered for them. I gave him a look.
"You watch this shit?" I asked him.
"I mean yeah, I've only seen this one though." He laughed.
"There's more than one? Sweet Mother Mary!" I licked my lips, looking at the bit of cheesecake I had.
"I now no longer want this. Anyone for the cheesecake?" I stood up, looking among the three of them. Kelly shook her head, Noah also holding his belly to show that he was full.
"Dad?" I asked.
"Oh go on then." He reached up, taking it from my plate and shoving it in his mouth full.
"Michael!" Kelly scolded her boyfriend, laughing.
"Thanks." I laughed, wandering out to the kitchen to put my plate in the dishwasher. As I bent down, I felt a hard slap on my bum, making me yelp. I jumped up and saw Noah, laughing.
"Everything ok?" Kelly asked.
"Uh yeah!" I shouted back.
"Noah hit me, that's all." I smirked at Noah to which he gasped.
"Lies." He whispered.
"Mhm." I mumbled, taking his plate from him and putting it in the dishwasher.
"Thanks for the cheesecake!" I yelled before walking off upstairs, expecting Noah to follow but he didn't.
I don't know why that bummed me out as much as it did but yeah...I picked up my dirty clothes from the floor and put them in my wash basket before falling down to my bed. I'm starting to get bored staying at home again. I go back to work soon though, so that's kind of fun, I guess.
It's so crazy what can happen in a day. I woke up this morning, not really liking Noah and now I'm kissing him... it's strange but I like it.
I then thought back to dinner when Noah mentioned the name 'Jude'. Was that the Jude I spoke to not too long ago or was it another dude called Jude. Ha, that rhymed. Anyway, it got me thinking. I wonder if Jude ever told Noah about me. Not my name, obviously as I'm sure he'd have something to say but it gets you wondering, doesn't it?I let out a huff, reaching for my phone and looking on Netflix for a film to watch. When I get my months pay, I'm definitely going to get myself a tv. I can't stand watching Netflix on such a tiny screen.
The rain was falling on my window pane, the sound instantly relaxing me. I loved listening to the rain, there was something so special about it. Oooo, that reminds me. I need to put up my blind.Pushing myself up off my bed, I ran downstairs and into the front room where all three heads turned in my direction.
"Hey Dad-" I began.
"Yes, honey." He answered.
"Do you know where my blind ended up? It's not in my room." I spoke.
"Oh um..." he sat up a little, looking around the room.
"You know what, it might actually be in our room." Dad said.
"Ok, can you help me put it up please because like, I'm weak and fragile." I laughed.
"Sure, I'll be up in a bit." He answered.
"Noah, why don't you help Ari." Kelly looked to Noah.
He looked up at me before rolling his eyes.
"Really?" He groaned.
"Yes please." Kelly gave him a stern look.
"Fine." He huffed before stomping off. Um... ok?I ran after him and once we reached the top of the stairs, he turned to me with a grin.
"Ten out of ten acting or what?" He wiggled his eyebrows.
"Even I thought you were serious." I laughed, shoving him back so I could walk to our parents room.Once I found my light grey blind, I walked back into my room. You see, that was the theme for my bedroom; light grey and baby pink. It was such a pretty combination and I loved it.
Noah was already taking things off of my window sill and I joined him, standing on the bed.
"Here it is." I handed it to him. It was pretty heavy.
"Are you sure this is going to fit this window?" He quirked a brow. I didn't think about that.
"Hopefully." I widened my eyes.
"Let me guess, it didn't cross your mind" He snickered.
"Not at all but come on mr muscle, show me what you got." I giggled. He held the blind up against the window and that's when we saw it.
"Fits perfectly, don't you think?" He asked with a laugh. The blind was a few inches too short.
"Fuck." I cussed.
"I'll have to buy another one." I pouted.
"Do you have work tomorrow?" He asked to which I shook my head.
"We could always go and buy a new one tomorrow whilst they're at work." He suggested.
"Sure." I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't see the harm in doing that.
"Cool." He stepped off my bed, still holding the blind.
"What shall I do with this?" He asked.
"Leave it in here somewhere, I'll sort it out tomorrow." I answered. He rested it up against my wall before joining me on my bed."Your bed is more comfy than mine." He wiggled around.
"Yeah well your mattress is probably ten years old." I giggled.
"You're probably right." He chuckled.
"Yeah well I need to shower so you need to leave." I smirked.
"You shower in your bedroom?" He asked.
"No but I do change in my bedroom so get out." I laughed, standing up from my bed and pulling him up.
"I could always join you." He winked.
"Yeah, Keep dreaming, Centineo." I pecked his lips, shoving him out of my room before I grabbed my towel and phone. I could jam out to some music whilst I was in there.
