I'll see you around, Arielle.

Arielle's PoV

"I just don't know if Noah is my someone, you know." I had finished telling this stranger about everything that's happened in the past however many months.
"Do you want him to be?" William quizzed.
"Of course, more than anything." I breathed out.
"But I just want my dad to be happy. If they found out about Noah and I, it could break up the family." I added.
"And you're willing to sacrifice your happiness?" He asked.
"For my dads happiness? Any day. In a heartbeat." I nodded my head.
"Say if you broke it off with Noah, how are you going to cope living with him 24/7?" All this boy does is ask questions.
"I honestly don't know." I hadn't even thought about it.
"You know, sometimes the best way to stay close to someone you love is just by being friends, even if it hurts." Oh so he does more than ask questions. I was starting to think that I had signed up to the chase.
"Be his best friend. Your parents won't find that weird." He shrugged his shoulders.
"You know, you're kind of shit at advice." I admitted.
"What? How? How is that shit advice?" He seemed offended. Uh oh.
"I can't just be friends with Noah." I shook my head.
"Well that's your fault, not mine." He held his hands up in surrender.
"Seriously if you want my honest advice, you should just break things off with him. Yes he makes you happy, yes you love him but there's always someone else out there for the both of you." He said and the thought of Noah being with anyone else hit me with a pang of jealousy. Sick to my stomach even.
"You're never going to be able to have a future unless you tell your parents yet you don't want to." He poked me in the leg gently with his index finger.
"Because I-" I began but he cut me off.
"Because you want your dad to be happy." He mocked my words from earlier.
"I get it. That's why I'm saying you should end things with Noah." He took a sip of his drink that he had sat beside him for the past hour. It's probably warm from the sun now. Ew.
"But I love him." My voice cracked. He rolled my eyes and me before giving me a sad smile.
"You know..." he began, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Sometimes your soulmate is yourself. You have to be the love of your life." He pursed his lips. What? Sometimes this guy doesn't even make sense.
"What I'm trying to say is that you'll be fine without him." He then stood up.
"Where are you going?" I frowned.
"It's gone 5, I gotta be back for dinner soon." He smiled.
"I'll see you around, Arielle." He gave me a small wave before walking off leaving me on the bench stunned.
"Thank you!" I called after him.

What was all of that? That was so weird.

Noah's PoV

After sleeping for about 15 minutes and throwing anything in sight, I found myself walking down the driveway. I have to find her and talk to her. All of this not knowing 100% is driving me insane.

Just as I left, Michael and my mum walked up holding hands with big smiles on their faces.
"Noah, where are you going?" My mum frowned.
"To find Arielle." I replied.
"Where is she?" Michael asked. I can't tell him we're fighting. It's a no argument holiday, remember?
"Oh um, she left for the beach earlier but I didn't want to go with." I lied.
"Will you be back soon? We've got something important to tell you." My mum grinned, a shiny diamond ring on her finger caught my attention.
"W-what? You're getting married?" My eyes nearly fell from my head.
"Dang it! It was supposed to be a surprise." My mum laughed, hiding her hand with the other.
"I need to go." And with that I jumped in one of the rental cars and headed towards the beach. It wasn't a far walk but I really couldn't be arsed.

I can't believe they're engaged and why on earth did Michael do it today when he could of done it that night they had their date night? The first night Arielle and I made love. Man, I can't lose her.

After driving up and down the road to find a car parking space, I finally parked the car up in a little lay by. The sun was now setting as I looked out of the window, scanning for the silhouette of my girlfriend. As I climbed out of the car, I noticed her perfect hair blowing gently to the side, her arms hugging her legs tight to her chest.

I gulped, locking the car and I walked over to her, my flip flops letting in sand. Ugh, I hate sand.

Without warning, I sat down beside her, mimicking her actions. She jumped slightly but relaxed once she realised it was me. Nothing was said between the two of us as we looked out to the sea. Was this a good idea coming here? Is hearing what she wants to say going to hurt more than earlier. Am I even ready for this?

"I'm sorry." I turned to her.
"I should be the one apologising." She looked at me. Her once playful eyes now hold complete tiredness and sadness. She must be drained and she looks very sun kissed. Maybe a bit too much. Her nose was pretty much bright red. She has been out here all day though so it's kind of expected.
"No. I should listen to you. If you're having doubts about us, I should know. I'm sorry for losing my temper a bit, I just don't want to lose you." I started, my hand reached over and placed itself upon her own.
"Whatever it is, we can work through it." I gave her a sympathetic smile. The look in her eyes held something. Something I couldn't quite pin point but it's making me think that she doesn't think we can overcome whatever this is.
"Noah, we have to breakup."
