Briar POV
I wake up to the sound of my phone beeping. Who is texting me at this time of the day? I reach over to my bedside table and grab my phone. I turn it on and see five new messages from the girls group chat. I also notice it is 8am. I should've woken up an hour ago, I am so late.
I open the chat and see that we are wearing a white top and jeans to school. We are always wearing matching coloured clothes.
Sage - Is this good enough?
Dylan - I'm wearing a similar thing so I am guessing that it is good.
Alex - I'm wearing this, I know its not plain white but its close enough, right?
I quickly get dressed and do my hair and makeup, before taking a picture of myself and sending it to the squad.
Me - You all look beautiful ... but I look better! ;)
Berkeley - Pff keep telling yourself that B
Briar - Are you ready to go to school or nah?
Sage - Yeah, I've been ready for the last twenty minutes.
Alex - We are literally waiting outside your house so ...
Dylan - The real question is, are you ready to go to school?
Briar - Yeah
Berkeley - Then hurry the F**K up.
Briar - Okay, just calm down!
I walk outside and see everyone sitting in Berkeley's car. Everyone looks a little annoyed at me for taking so long ... but what can I say? Beauty takes time.
We drive to school and walk in, everyone stares at us and makes way for us to walk through the crowd. We are really popular, all the boys love us and all the girls want to be one of us. At least once a day someone asks to join our girl squad, but this is Squad 5, no one else can come into our group.
I notice a new girl standing at the locker next to mine, talking to my boyfriend, Myles. She is very pretty and she is wearing very similar outfit to Alex. There is something about this girl that ... just doesn't sit well with me. But I just don't know what it is. Maybe its the fact that she is flirting with Myles, or that she is wearing our styled clothes. I just don't know about her.
Who is this new girl?
