Berkeley POV

Ugh this is just great. Not. This is the one time I will actually walk around someone. I don't want to start more drama, seeing as what happened with Shelby. But the GG are not going to just let us get away with this, and I know that for sure.

"MOVE." Briar demands of them.

"Make me." Logan says, stepping forward.

"Now you're just asking for it." Briar says, also taking a step forward ready to fight.

"I think that's enough of that, B." I say stepping forward in between the two girls.

"You might have gotten away with it this time, Briar. But next time you won't get so lucky." Logan says backing off and making way for us to pass.

We walk through the space and go straight to our classes, in silence. There has never been a silent moment between the Squad. At least, not when it was just us. Things have changed. Briar and Myles are going to be parents soon, and we all feel kind of guilty for what happened to Shelby. But we just have to move on, somehow.

After school we walk to the park the Squad and the boys always hang out at. I sit down next to Trevor resting my head against his shoulder, and join into the conversation.

"So have you thought about any names?" Isaac asks Briar and Myles.

"Uhm, yeah we've thought of a few." Briar says.

"Well, are you gonna tell us or not?" I ask, teasingly.

"Nah, I think you can wait 6 months longer." Myles teases back.

"Oh come on. You're killing us here." We all moan.

"Okay ok." Briar and Myles say in unison. "We'll tell you one name."

"Ones better than nothing, I guess." I shrug.

"We were thinking for a girl, maybe Amara." Briar says. "Meaning beloved."

"Aww that's so sweet." We all agree. "You're gonna be such a cute little family."

"And you all are gonna be a big part of that." Briar tells us. "You are family too."

"True that." Dylan says. "I've never really thought about that till now. You guys are my family."

"Yeah." We all murmur, until it goes silent for a while.

"And a name for a boy?" I ask, breaking the silence.

"Don't push it gal." Briar tells me. "If its a boy then ... well you'll just have to wait and see."

"Ughhh." We moan once again.

"Haha." Bryles laugh at us.

We hang out in the park for hours. Its our place. The one place where we aren't pressured or being someone else. This is the place we can be ourselves.
