I woke up in yet another hotel room, they were quickly becoming my second home. Today was a busy day for me. I had an interview with cosmopolitan booked, they were interested in me as i had a apparently "shot to stardom" and to be honest it was true. And when i think about how it hd started it's mad from just posting one picture, and now i was posting more and going to shoots and I had a manager and was shooting for V.S in the next couple of days.

Cosmopolitan was going to be my first ever interview though and i was nervous; it would be the publics first ever glimpse at me via words as they had only ever really seen pictures of me. 'What if they don't like me' I thought, I was only just getting to grips with my new lifestyle and I was still pretty untouched by too much public scrutiny as I had remained away from it, but now I was throwing myself in at the deep end.

I got out of the hotel bed and went into the bathroom. After I'd showered I dressed myself in grey cigarette trousers and a black skinny ribbed t-shirt jumper. I pulled out my classic black Chelsea boots. I sat at the hotels dressing table and started my makeup. Concealer under my eyes, light bronzer to my cheek dips and forehead, with a subtle glow of highlighter on my cheekbones. I then painted my lashes and filled in my eyebrows.

As I grabbed my things I picked up my fur jacket and small black handbag. As i shut my hotel room door I started to order an uber and by the time it was ordered I was at the ground floor of the hotel. I made my way to the breakfast buffet I had never really been a breakfast person but I decided to grab a banana while I waited for the uber.I walked back to the hotel reception and sat on the sofas, scrolling through my social media while I ate my potassium filled breakfast, as I glanced up from my phone I noticed the reception desk clerk looking over at me and as I caught his eye he immediately shot his deep brow eyes back towards his filing that laid on the desk in front of him. He had dark hair styled in a quiff and he had strong designer stubble that framed his jaw. I stood up from my sofa and walked over to where he was working.

"Hello" I said, at my voice he placed down his pen and looked up at me, a glint in his eye.

"Good morning how can I help" he responded, a slight glint in his eye.

"I was just wondering if you had a bin" I asked as I held up my banana peel.

"Of course madam" he rose from his chair and took the peel from my hand, his fingers brushing against mine as he did so. "Could I get you anything else Y/F/N"

As he asked this, I was dumbfounded, how did he know my full name, before I had much chance to question it or to reply I had a notification on my phone from the uber. "Er no thank you" I said hastily brushing my hair behind my ear and turning quickly on my heels out the door and into the Uber. I got into the car and the previous exchange was going over in my head "how did he know my full name?" I thought to myself. "Maybe I checked in with him last night, I was quite tired when I arrived" I stated to myself.

By the time I had a chance to decide how he knew me so confidently the uber had taken me to my destination. A tall windowed biodiversity reaching about 8 or 9 floors. I stood in front of it and pulled my coat over myself closely to protect myself from the October winds.

I walked into the office block and walked straight over to the receptionist. She was a petite blonde woman at a similar age to myself. She had black framed glasses on her round face that masked the glow of her blue eyes. She was busily typing away when I approached. "Er hiya" I said politely.
"Sorry hello how can I help" she replied looking up from her computer screen.
"Yeah I have an interview with Cosmopolitan" I answered
"Oh of course, I'll ring up to the office and they'll send someone down, take seat" she replied picking up the phone.

I turned and sat awkwardly on a clinical black leather sofa, placing my bag on my lap I took in my surroundings and began to take in what was actually happening.

The quietness of the big open reception made me feel dwarfed and vulnerable. The noises of the receptionists keyboard and the whizzing of the lift noises, as it approached the ground floor, echoed off the tall glass windows that made up the impressively cold building.

I heard the noises of the whirling lift stop and I diverted my eyes over to the stainless steel doors; they slid open revealing a dark haired woman in a pencil skirt suit. Professionally, she stepped out the metal enclosure and strutted over to me. As she approached her features became more prominent. Dark blue eyes masked slightly by her strong raven black fringe, a strong but not large nose brought together her stern and yet soft face.

"You must be Y/F/N" she declared as she put out her hand for me to shake.

"Yes, yes I am" I replied grasping her hand and shaking it.

"Great, come on, let's make this snappy" she said leading me into the elevator. "Me and the rest of the world are intrigued to learn more about the girl who came from nothing" she started, pressing a variation of buttons, "but who is now everything." She finished looking me dead in the eye.

The doors slid closed.
