The interview room

The room the interview took place in seemed juxtaposing to the rest of the office, like a Tardis but in reverse. It made the interview seem more personal, which put me at ease slightly. Refusing any refreshments, the woman, Stephanie started to finalise arrangements.

She sat me on a stool against an off white backdrop, lit by dim yet natural lights I sat facing an empty stool, where Stephanie would soon sit and next to her a camera on a tri pod. The camera and the set up reminded me of Joe and his YouTube career and the small taster that he had introduced me to by letting me be apart of some videos.

Stephanie said the interview would be filmed as-well as published, in attempts to reach a wider audience. She gathered her papers, turn on the camera and sat down opposite me.

And this was the start of my very first interview.
