I sighed as I sat, watching the water flow down the creek. I had stayed here the whole day, afraid to go back and face him. He died right in front of me, I sawhim. He reincarnated? For what? Why? So many questions were running through my head. I picked up a pebble and threw it into the water. I accidentally hit a naiad in the head. She shoots a glare at me.

"I'm so sorry! " I say. She nods and swims off. I stand up off the rock and sit on the grass instead. I hear a voice from behind me, startling me. I pull out my bow and knocked an arrow. Lu- I mean Liam steps out, his hands up. I lower the weapon. He steps closer.

"I just wanted you to know that while you were gone I had a flashback." he says. Since he's telling me, it probably involved me.

"How are you alive?" I ask.

"I'm reincarnated. I think they just wanted me to have a second chance to fix things." he says. I nod, then turn and sit back down. I thought he would leave but I felt him sit beside me. He sat pretty close, making me slightly uncomfortable but I slowly got used to his presence.

"The balcony fell on you. You were crushed." he says. I shake my head.

"Sara saved me. Of course I was hospitalized and was in a coma for a week, but I didn't die." I cleared up. He nods. I stare out at the setting sun, it's reflection on the water. Liam stands and offers me his hand.

"Come on, it's getting late. Let me show you to your cabin." he says. I stand, not using his hand. He frowns slightly and we start walking.

"I'm in Apollo." I say, in case he forgot. He smiles slightly, replacing his frown.

"I know. I remember."
