"Sara why are you doing that?" Ellie asked as we trudged to the ferry.
"Doing what?" I asked, stopping to get a better grip on the sack of food.
"Pushing Leo away like that!"
"I'm not pushing him away! I just want some time to think".
"Suuuuuure".

The ferry boat smelt of bad gas and bird poop. I scrunched my nose up and exchanged a glance with Leo. How could I be pushing him away?
Ellie was in a hushed conversation with Liam and as we sat down, I checked my stabbers to make sure they were working and greased well enough. A teenage girl looked at us funny, probably seeing the weapons and I snapped my fingers at her. She blinked multiple times and looked away.
"I'm gonna see if they have a bathroom on this thing", Leo whispered. "I really should have gone before camp."
I giggled and Ellie looked over at us. Rolling my eyes I put the sack of supplies next to me to save Leo's seat.
Five minutes later he burst into the cabin and shouted "Fury! Everybody get down!".
