*NextDay*

I woke up before the sun even rose, which was unusual for me. I only do this when I'm stressed or something's bothering me. I already know what it is so I didn't bother trying to figure it out. I got out of bed, thinking it was no use to try to go back asleep. I put my hair up in a bun, grabbed my bow and quiver of arrows and snuck out of the room. I wandered around until I found the trading arena, full of targets and fake bodies. I walked over to the far end, noticing someone else there, using a sword like they were made to do it. I turned away and stood about thirty feet away from the target. I knocked an arrow and shot, landing exactly on the bullseye. I shot again, but the arrow didn't go into the target. It went into the severed - fake head that flew in front of me. I yelped, being startled. I look over my shoulder to see Luke - dammit... - Liam staring at me. I turn away and keep doing what I was originally doing. I shot again, this time splitting the first arrow in half. I smile. I feel a finger tap my shoulder. I turn my head slightly, already knowing who it was but just to make sure.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"You're really good." he says. I roll my eyes. I wasn't in a good mood. Never until it's officially daytime.

"Well, when you've been hunted since you were four, you learn a few things." I say with a little edge. He just chuckles.

"You never were happy until the sun comes up." he says. I could almost feel his chest against my back. I felt his breath against my neck. My arms were shaky as I let the next arrow go, only hitting the circle outside the red bullseye. I take the good arrows out of the target, leaving the split one and leave the arena, leaving him standing there.

I wander through the woods, the sun on my face. I was now feeling guilty that I left him there but whatever, it's done. He left me. I stopped upon seeing a bunker. I smelled smoke, so I thought it was from the Hephaestus cabin. I stepped inside and stifled an 'aww' at what I saw. I guess Sara fell off the couch because she was sound asleep right next to Leo.
