I lift the hood that just revealed an empty space. It was literally just an empty metal space. I had no idea how to even light the chariot ablaze. I thought that line was for Leo, since he has the whole fire hands thing. Sara shouted for Liam to get in. I caught his eye. I shouldn't have yelled or argued with him last night. It was my fault. He just wanted the attention that I wasn't giving him. He takes a step.

"I'm sorry." I say. He hesitates, then continues to get on the bus. I sigh. Way to go, Ellie.... I think to myself. Just as I am about to focus, I hear a snarl like hiss from behind me. I turn and quickly whip out my bow and arrows. Empousai. I'm about to shoot when they speak. Well, hiss is a better term.

"Daughter of Apollo... his favorite....." they hiss in unison. I lower the bow.

"What?"

"We knew he would send you of all of his sons and daughters. Is the true blood here?" they ask. Sara? I guess. I don't hesitate. I grab one of my special arrows and shoot it at their feet. They all explode and my back hits the front of the bus hard. I yelp, yellow dust settling everywhere. I hear Sara's voice.

"The new time you eyes to fix a car and y-  wait, what the he'll happened?" she asks.

"Nothing. I'll get it started, just go back to singing Journey songs." I say. She looks at me suspiciously but goes back inside the bus. I breathe out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. Close one.
