I immediately pulled out an arrow, loaded it and shot the Sphinx in the eye. It roared and my eyes widened as I stepped away from it. Liam grabbed my arm and yanked me behind him, holding his sword out. I looked behind me to see Leo and Sara running towards us, Sara with a shield. How she got it, I have no idea. And right now, I honest to gods don't care. This monster is like, one of the most dangerous monsters in Greek mythology. Sara whispers something to Leo. He nods and she runs to the side of the monster. The Sphinx starts to look towards her. I whistle and wave my hands.
"Hey! Yeah, you! Sphinx? What kind of a monster are you?" I shout at it. It's nostrils flare in anger, practically making me shit my pants. It starts walking towards me and Liam. We both back up. Leo quickly darts behind the monster. His hands light up in flames and he lights the thing's tail on fire. I see Sara about to stab the monster, but the Sphinx's tail knocks Leo clear over the edge of Olympus. Sara sees this and stabs the monster, then rushes to the edge Leo fell off. I grab Liam's sword out of his hands stab the thing in the chest. It collapses, but I'm running to Sara. She's in hysterics. I have to hold her back from the edge, which is fucking hard.
"We have to get down there!!!" she yells/cries out.
" Liam can go with you, I have to stay here." I say. She nice as he and Liam run to the elevator, leaving me with a dead Sphinx.
