Sara and Leo got off the bus but I grabbed Liam's hand before he could leave.
"Ellie! Come on!" Sara shouts.
"I'll be out in a minute!" I say. I hear her groan from outside but she doesn't protest. I keep holding his hand.
"Liam, I'm sorry. I don't care how many times I have to say it. I was wrong, I should be talking to you more and showing my love for you, not ignoring you. I.... I love you. " I say. He finally looks me in the eye.
"What?" he asks, a small smile playing on his lips.
"I love you." I repeat. He rests his hands on my waist and mine are on his shoulders.
"I love you too. " he replies. I lean up and press my lips against his.
"Okay, let a go see your dad. I didn't think I would be meeting your family so soon." he teases. I laugh, playfully slapping his arm and exiting the bus. Sara raises her eyebrow at me.
"So... how is it in there?" she asks. My cheeks turned red.
"Shut up, we gotta get this to my dad." I say. I start walking, Liam soon catching up and grabbing my hand. We come to a tall entryway and I know we're so close to the gods. I look at Sara, knowing she'd be facing Zeus in a few seconds.
