As usual, Heather was working when we came in but she seemed quieter than usual. She almost seemed depressed which was weird considering she'd been a lot happier lately.
Bailey grabbed our aprons and notepads and tossed one of each at me. The diner was busy so there wasn't time for chatting until our break, but there wasn't much to talk about then either.
It was only Tuesday so there wasn't much to do once we were off.
"We're going to head to the DX, you want to join us?" Bailey offered to Heather.
She shook her head, "I'm working a double, covering for Lucy."
We nodded and left.
We talked to the boys about their day while they worked on a car.
Pony and Johnny were still gone and Soda was worried sick but figured Dally knew something.
