After a bit of bickering Ashton and Michael had come to the conclusion that we'd just be going to Michael's house. He didn't have the best house, nothing as extravagant as Ashton's home, but it was a house nonetheless.

Michael claimed that his parents went away on vacation, an early Christmas thing I guess. Michael wasn't complaining though and neither were the rest of us.

"I think I should throw a party," Michael spoke, excited with the idea. "There's not much to do anyway, and why the fuck not?" Ashton shrugs and goes to the fridge, he grabs a beer before popping it open.

"Sounds good," He calls out. "I doubt we've got anything better to do anyway." Crystal groans.

"Don't you two ever get tired of partying every weekend?"

"Not only the weekends." Michael says.

"Even worse!" She laughs and Ashton comes around to sit beside me on the couch. I notice him wrap an arm around me and I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I don't reject it.

"Texting people now." Michael says, sticking his tongue out at Crystal, who does the same back to him.

"You two are children." I laugh and Crystal shrugs.

"He's the child, I always find myself having to baby sit his ass."

"Stop making up stories, babe. We both know that's not true." Michael then leans down and kisses Crystal, who blushes. She looks over at me and smiles.

"At least I have Allie to hang out with tonight."

"What about me?" Michael pouts.

"You always have my attention!"

"You two make me sick." Ashton gags and I can't help but laugh. I really did enjoy the company of Crystal and Michael. I feel bad for ever being such an asshole to the both of them. They were nice people.

"Fuck off," Michael laughs. "You're just mad you haven't gotten some in a while." Ashton rolls his eyes.

"What time is it?" He asks and Michael pulls out his phone again.

"Five thirty," Michael reads off his phone. "I'm gonna go get some drinks out."

"I'll help!" Crystal runs off with him, but I knew it wasn't for the drinks. The air feels awkward as it's just Ashton and I alone again. He leans back on the couch and looks over at me.

"You in a party mood?" He asks finally, his voice a little bit awkward. I laugh a little and I notice it cause him to smile.

"It's better than being home with my mum right?" He nods.

"I guess you're right." My phone vibrates. I pull it out of my pocket and look at it.

Luke: We need to talk.

"That kid's still bothering you?" He asks, and I look over at him.

"He isn't a bother really, and this is the first time he's texted me in a while actually." I say and Ashton raises an eyebrow.

"That's a surprise. Hard to believe he used to be up your ass all the time." I roll my eyes.

"Think you're forgetting he's with Sierra."

"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that." I respond to Luke's text.

Me: About?

Beside me, Ashton fidgets in his seat. I look over to him and begin to wonder what even happened between him and Luke? Why do they hate each other so damn much? I hated it because Luke was my best friend, and Ashton was... well whatever he was. I just know I cared about them both.
