Ashton and I make our way down the hall, it's quiet in the house, weird considering Calum usually played his stupid bass and ran through his terrible lyrics. He seemed to think he'd make it big someday but who knows, maybe he could. When we make it close to Calum's door, we start to hear music playing, loud. But it wasn't his bass, it was just rock music blaring.

What a hypocrite. Telling me to turn my music off when he's here doing the same thing I did. I knock on the door.

"Calum?" He doesn't respond at all. I sigh and knock again. "Calum? Can we come in?" I call out to him but again, no answer. I look to Ashton and he just shrugs at me. This was weird of Calum, he didn't usually just blast music like this. The only other reason he might is to drown out other existing sound. I twist the doorknob and walk in.

"Calum, how are you gonna tell me not to blast-" When I see what's in front of me, I stop dead in my tracks, causing Ashton to bump right into me from behind.

"What is it?" Ashton looks too and his expression matches mine, complete surprise.

Calum and Michael pull away from their kiss and the moment they see us, they both turn bright red. Calum gets up and and thank god only his shirt's off. He moves toward us.

"I.."

"Get out! Don't you knock?"

"I- I did Cal, but you didn't respond I-"

"Get out!" He begins to push both me and Ashton out of the spare room frantically. Once we're out the door, he slams it hard behind us. He was definitely now distressed, and clearly didn't want us to see that.

"Whoa." Ashton breathes out. "He's fucking gay?" I shrug and take a deep breath.

"Uh, yeah... I guess."

"You didn't know?"

"How would I? He's never said anything about it. I mean that would explain why he's like... never had a girlfriend or anything," I frown a little. "I hope he doesn't think I hate him."

"I'm gonna assume that's why he reacted the way he did," Ashton laughs a little. "He'll be fine soon." I nod and decide to knock on the door again, not too hard. His music was turned off now. It takes a few moments but Calum opens the door again, keeping it cracked open slightly.

"What do you want?"

"Uh, Ashton and I just wanted to know if you and Michael wanted to go out with us later. That's all." Calum looks back at Michael a moment before scratching the back of his neck.

"Just you guys?" I look to Ashton who shakes his head, knowing I wanted to tell him about Crystal. But I doubt they'd both wanna go if they knew she'd be coming too.

Considering they might be a thing now.

"Uh yeah. Just me you, Ash and Michael." I lie with ease. Calum sighs and looks over at Michael.

"You down to go out for some drinks tonight?" Michael nods without saying a word. Calum looks back at us and nods.

"Yeah, we'll come," Calum avoids eye contact. "Could you guys uh, give us a minute?" I nod.

"Yeah, that's fine. Ashton and I will probably just be in my room." Calum nods and moves eye contact again awkwardly before closing the door slowly. I walk back to my room and think about what just happened.

Calum is gay... Is Michael bisexual then? I know he was torn about losing Crystal, so he couldn't just be gay. Calum and Michael? That's a couple that I never thought could ever be a thing.

Oh god, what is dad gonna think?

When I get into my room, I sit at my vanity, turning the lights on. Ashton puts his hands on the back of my chair, leaning on it and looking at me in the mirror.
