Jennifer POV

I hum to myself as I set out the snacks on the table. I grab a carton of "black soda drink" and set it on the table, laughing at my crazy boyfriend. According to Kris, he was Picasso, a god in disguise and the most hansome being ever to tread down on earth. I snickered as I remembered how he was forced to do gwiyomi at his dorm. His expression alone was enough to send me reeling into laughter, let alone his cutesy actions.

I got cut out of my thoughts when the doorbell rang. I ran to get it hurriedly and was greeted with the sight of my boyfriend leaning against the wall, hands in pocket like a model. I raised an eyebrow and pulled him in. "Come on," I called, and we went into the kitchen and sat down at the table as we began work. We were assigned hypothetical assignments in health class, and we had to find options to choose after detailed planning and evaluation.

Kris and I were assigned the same assignment. We were to be married-hypothetically, of course and we had to plan for our wedding, honeymoon, car fares, utilities and first month rent with a budget of $5000. We were going to finish up on the wedding and get started on the apartment.

"We've got to work to pay for the rent," Kris drawled, gazing over the counter at me. I went to get the classified sections of the newspaper and sat beside him. "What do you want to be?" he questioned, putting an arm around me. "I wanted to be a princess. Then Minnie Mouse. Now I guess I want to be a restaurant owner." I answered, ignoring his snickers. "You'd probably have to work as a dishwasher first, I guess," and we both grabbed the papers and hunted for a job ad. We found a dishwashing job offered at $5 an hour, ten hours a day. "That'll be $50 a day, $250 a week and $1000 a month. Hey Kris, what do you want to be?" "I want to be an astronaut and tour the galaxy, so I'd probably have to be a lab assistant or work in a lab," he muttered, and we flipped feverishly. There wasn't an opening for a lab assistant, but there was one for a lab techinician, offering $1200 a month, and we had to go with that.

"Shit, man. We're going to get married, but we need to settle cut-rate for everything. How are we supposed to live?" I grumbled, kicking the chair. With the lousy $5000 budget in the way, we had to settle for a simple wedding with a simple store bought cake. "Never mind, babe. We can always live on love. There's plenty between us," Kris whispered tenderly, and I settled my head on his shoulder, before he placed a quick kiss on my nose. I giggled softly, and we sat together in the kitchen, dreaming of our real wedding.

A/N: There! I finished @retarded_asian's request. I hoped you liked it^^ Yehet, cos this ia my 10th request doneThe cred for the plot goes to Alice in Lace by Phillip MacNaylor. The story is fantastic, and the scene above was inspired by the time Alice and her boyfriend, Patrick did their project after arguing about the wedding. I love Lester, her brother and I would love to have her dad too. You should go check the Alice series, cos its kinda humorous and easy to read. I LOVE reading books, and I love The Outsiders by S.E Hinton. The story is really touching and Soda reminds me of Donghae, crazy and funny, but with problems still. And I'm groaning in bed, because TLP is here on Saturday, but I'm not going/_\ Oh my sad feels;-; Oh well, bye! Vote and comment!
