#36 Baekhyun-Raven Hair

Dedicated to EliseMac2, who requested for this Baekhyun imagine. The plot is adapted from Anne of The Green Gables and Anne's House Of Dreams, both by Lucy Maud Montgomery, one of my all time favourite classics. This may be a bit funny but since you wanted a classic genre, but enjoy~ :)

The class was filled with whispers, the juniors munching on apples and the seniors drawing on their slates. The teacher, Mr Min Seok, was "coaching" Lu Han, the prettiest girl in the schoolroom. Really, he was drawing his love for her on his slate, and she was blushing furiously, her soft white hands covering her mouth.

Jo POV

"That's Byun Baekhyun. He's aw'ffly handsome ain't he?" my seatmate whispered to me. Venus, my bosom friend was pointing at a boy sitting at the table next to ours. He had black eyes, but he didn't look twelve. Fourteen more like. "Why's he so old?" I asked, staring as he pinned Ruby's plait to her chair. "It ain't nice to treat a girl so," "Oh, Baekhyun left school when he was twelve, and he's only back now," I nodded my head, observing as he pretended to study.

Baekhyun POV

I looked over at that new girl, Jo. She was different. Her hair was black, and her chin propped up in her hands as she gazed into the distance. She seemed lost in her own world, detatched from the noisy schoolroom. "New girl!" I called, but her wide black eyes didn't move, still holding that dreamy look. "Splindly legs!" I tried again. Her body never moved, her gaze unfaltering. "Crow hair!" I yelled, anticipating a reaction. A reaction she did have.

Jo POV

"Crow hair!" The two words sneaked into my space, shattering my beautiful daydream of being with Marilla and Matthew. I leapt to my feet, the wave of anger sweeping up within me. Crow hair! How dare he! Oh, I'd always wanted blonde hair, but really! "You wicked boy! Oh, how I hate you so much!" I cried passionately, grabbing up my slate. I listened as a satisfying CRACK erupted after I'd brought my slate down on his head. "Jo! Jo! Go up and stand till breaktime! Really, your behaviour is unimaginable!" yelled Mr Min Seok, as Ruby began wailing hysterically and the class fell silent. I would never, never forgive Baekhyun! I thought, as I marched up, my face white.

▶Years later◀

I sat beside the fireplace, as Gog and Magog stood on the matelpiece. "Remember the old days? You always hated me," laughed Baekhyun. "Oh, I did, I did. That candy heart you gave me, was never eaten. Grounded by my foot into powder. But I still wish that I had long blonde hair. And Jo is so plain. I want to be Cordelia Fitzgerald," I sighed. "There's no need, dear. Because raven haired Jo will always be the queen of my heart," he whispered, placing a soft kiss on my forehead. I smiled and snuggled down, at the fire began burned brighter, while the day turned dark.

A/N: Hehe. This scene was Anne smashing her slate on Gilbert Blythe for calling her carrot hair. I cpuld always relate to Anne, as she was dreamy and clumsy. Even as years pass by, Anne is still very much alive to me. And Jo is from Little Woman. Classics all the way, the way you like it;) And S****, I hoped you like it. Classics and all(but without the horror) Yea, I know it's short but you should get it, girl:) I shall fail my exams while you do it brilliantly:D Your Lit script today left me AMAZED. Such length.
