Dedicated to spwarklez:) I couldn't figure out whether it was supposed to be Baekhyun biased or Chanyeol biased, so I went on both:) Enjoy;)

They say there's no place like home.

Wind blowing softly, I sat and gazed out of the window. Where home lay. I missed home, I missed the good old days.

Because home is where the heart is.

Life here wasn't bad. It wasn't good either. It seemed a tad too perfect, everything peaceful and quiet. It didn't have the cheer I was so accustomed to; it was different.

It lacked my best friends. Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

We don't remember days. We remember moments.

My days with the two had been numbered, but memories were infinite.

I ran through the field, the grass almost as tall as I was, and as thick as a forest.

As I ran, I tripped over a body and I shrieked. "Monster!"

"I'm not a monster. I'm Baekhyun."

"No he's not! He's bacon!"

"I am not!" the body howled, and I took a step back.

The boys wriggled out, and stared at me. They both had black hair and big grins, but that was as far as the similarity went. One had big ears and large eyes, and the other had a small nose and thin fingers.

"I'm Baekhyun."

"That's my friend, bacon. I'm Chanyeol."

-

The two had always been there for every milestone in my life. My first bicycle, my first day of school, my graduation; everything. It was a perfect life, with all the things I had always wished for-real friends.

Until that day.

You may walk out of the door, but you cannot make me forget you. It's impossible to forget what I've remembered, it's impossible to forget you.

"Don't argue!"

"But Mom! What about-"

"I said don't argue with me! It's not going to change anything."

I stomped up the stairs two at a time, the tears of anger prickling my eyes. "I don't want to go!"

As I sat on the bed and stared at the pastel blue walls, the rage in me died. Every part of the room was haunted with memories.

The pictures and dog eared books of my childhood lay innocently, and I sniffed. I was going to miss all this, I was going to miss home.

"Challenges are for the strong, and crying is for the weak."

The quote that hung on my wall bore into my soul, shredding it to pieces. This was a challenge, but it was up to me to be strong. Or to be weak.

Don't say goodbye; it's painful. Rather, say that we'll meet soon. Even if soon is forever, I'll still wait. For you.

"Goodbye, B-"

"Don't say that, Hee Yeon. We'll meet soon," Chanyeol, whispered, giving me a small smile.

"But we won't meet-"

"We'll meet soon. Even if soon is forever, we'll meet." Baekhyun's words left me dumb, and I nodded.

"Well then. See you soon, you guys."

Chanyeol nodded his head, and gave me a hug, and Baekhyun gave me a little tweak on my nose.

"Oh gosh, I don't deserve you two. You're too nice."

"Aw, don't say that. You know you're as good as us."

"I know you'll do well at boarding school, Hee Yeon."

"The train is here."

I grabbed my bags, and stepped onto the train, leaving them behind.

"Moving!"

The train rumbled, and chugged as it whirled to life. I glanced out of the window, and there they were, smiles on their face.

"Good-"

I never got to finish my words, because the train left the platform.

But they were waving.

It is undeniable that reunions are the happiest occasions, and the most emotional ones too.

"Hee Yeon! You have visitors!"

I bolted from the windows, and thumped down to the porch.

It was Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

"Baek! Yeol! You're here!"

"We said we'd see you soon, wouldn't we?"

"It feels like home now, guys. It really does."

No matter what, we'll always be together. We'll be us.

A/N: Shortest I've done in a while but oh well:P Maybe the ending was too abrupt (huehue) and it's isn't exactly too cheerful D: Anyway, hope you all had fun reading:) Any plans for Christmas? Vote and comment~
