BAMBAM's POV

Everyone gathered in the living room. After the encounter with Mr Im, we decided to bring Jaebum home so that he can try to sleep and calm down first.

We know that Jaebum was given one day to make a choice. Not that he has one. he essentially had to choose between Youngjae or dead Youngjae. Which one would you chose??

Youngjae.

I thought so too.

There was a tense silences everyone was worried and angry.

Suddenly, mark groaned loudly and stood up walking to the center of the room as all our eyes follow him.

"If we let him get his way this time, he's never going to stop! Innocent people will still die and Jaebum would them be part of it too!" He snapped... mark snapped... he was always the quiet one and would always wait for people to start suggesting solutions before he did.

I looked around the room to the other boys. Jinyoung was the first to avert his gaze.

"There's nothing we can do about it." He said said in defeat.

"Shouldn't we report this to the police? It's a missing person..." Jackson suggested.

I nodded in agreement, but Jinyoung spoke again.

"No. That wouldn't make a difference. Do you know how mafias work? They have connections and this mafia we are talking about is one of the biggest there is. He's got people filling up the important positions in authority and that's how he gets what he wants." He explained, then hung his head down, looking between his knees.

Everyone fell into silence again, our thoughts and ideas only circulate in the tiny space they are given. Is there really nothing we can do about it?

"I have an idea." I jumped a little hearing Jaebum's voice.

I turned to look at he who stood at the corridor, leaning against the wall.

"Jinyoung's right. He is no ordinary criminal. He is experienced and by now i believe he already told his underlings at the convenient police stations to standby... We have to catch him off guard." We all watched as he came and took a seat beside Jinyoung.

"And how do you suppose we do that?" Yugyeom asked as if Jaebum's speech did not help at all.

"I'll tell him i will return to America with him. Youngjae's parent's might still have connections with the police too, right? Afterall, he's in the business too..."

"Wait, what do you mean? What connections?" Yugyeom asked, totally lost.

I, too was confused. How and why would Youngjae's parents have connections with the police.

"You don't know?" Jaebum asked as his brows furrowed, cocking his head to one side. He then turned to me, as if searching for some answers but i can only shrug, not knowing what he was talking about.

Jaebum sighed and shook his head.

"I don't know whether I should be saying this... but the situation can't get any worse, so..."

We all tuned in to listen.

"Youngjae's father is a mafia too..." he trailed.

What? Liar...

How come i never knew? Grew up with Youngjae, and yet i never knew about this-

"Look, I only know this because of my father, I doubt Youngjae himself knows about this. His father had promised to give his son a normal life so he stopped resorting to murder, but i think he's still got safety precautions."
