The guy who came down was guess who, that stuck up brat from the conference.

My jaw literally dropped open.

He looked at me as he came downstairs, his eyes nearly popping out of his head. I must admit though, he doesn't look as bad as I thought he did.

"Hello, good evening. I'm Ashton Lucas" he said extending his hand out for a handshake.

"I'm Tiffany Young, nice to meet you again" I said shaking his hand.

"Again?" He said confused.

"Don't you remember that conference?" I asked.

"Oh, of course, how could I possibly forget the woman who threw not only coffee but water on me" he said in a sickly annoying tone.

"This is the guy" my mom said showing surprise.

"The one and only" I answered.

"That's one of the reasons why I arranged for them to get married." His mom said.

"That's how it was for us. We both disliked each other at first but we eventually, that hate turnt to love" he said pulling his wife close to him and kissing her forehead.

I smiled at their tale, likewise my mother.

But, Ashton's name sounded familiar. Not only did the name sound familiar, he also looked familiar. It felt like dejavu.

"You two went to the same school so I'm guessing you know each other" his dad said as if he knew what was on my mind.

"We did?" I asked rather surprised. "Yes, didn't you go Oakville High School. It's a private school." he said.

"Oh there, yes I went there. I graduated in 2015 which was like three years ago."

"Oh then you should have been in the same class as our Ashton." his mom replied.

"What field are you in?" Mr. Young asked. "I'm in the business field, to be more specific, accounting" I answered calmly.

We sat down was we continued this interesting conversation.

Then it clicked.

I realized who he was.

At Oakville, he was known to be the one of the best fighters there and one of the biggest bullies.

I used to get into a lot of fights with him when we were there. He was also really rich at that time too.

Seems like nothing's really changed.

I don't think he had realized who I was yet. I've always had a strong passion of hate for him.

This is payback time.

My phone rang just as we were having dinner. I excused myself to answer the call. It was my best friend Gabby.

"Hey what's up? What's the place and what's the guy like? Is he hot or is he cute or none of the above?" she asked.

"Hold your horses. One question at time. He none of the above. Do you remember Ashton Lucas from Oakville?" I asked.

She was my friend ever since I had started Oakville.

She took a while to reply before saying "Oh Ashton, that jerk who you would get in trouble and fights with. Yeah I remember. Why are you asking all of the sudden though?"

"Because that's my to be husband" I blurted out.

"What?!!! He's what?" Gabby asked shocked.

"Look I've got to go or else these people will get suspicious. Love you. Bye." I said before cutting the phone call off.

"Well isn't this going to be anything but a joyride" I sarcastically said shoving my phone into my front pocket of my denim pants.
