TIFFANY POV
By now my foot had healed. It felt so nice to not have to walk around with a pair of crutches everywhere I go.And it felt damn good to get that annoying cast off. That thing made my foot itch so much.
The wedding was like within a week and I was freaking out big time.
We were having the engagement at my house. I was just so nervous. For what reason, I'm still unsure of.
Mom and I spent the whole week cleaning and making the house look neat and tidy.
TWO DAYS AGO
Ashton and I walking into the fifth jewellery store.I never thought in my life that picking an engagement ring and a wedding ring would be so hard. It seemed like an endless journey.
I asked to look at the rings once again. I just wanted to fall onto at bed and sleep. If only I could.....
I wasn't really at big fan of gold and neither was Ashton. At least we can agree on one thing. I liked elegant but not too over the top.
I finally picked out an engagement ring. It has everything I ever wanted in an engagement ring. It's was perfect.
Now the only thing that's left would be the wedding ring. "This is going to be a long day" I murmured.
"Okay let's try and find something" I said trying to be enthusiastic but failing miserably.
After about 5 minutes of quarrelling and trying to talk things through we finally made a decision.
We both chose a sterling sliver ring as the wedding ring. It was a bit simple but it was pretty gorgeous.

The engagement day.
Both parties had only invited close family and friends and for the wedding no more than 600 people.
To me that was nowhere near little but to the Lucas family it was.
So it was probably going to be about 100 people or more at this engagement.
I walked down the stairs in my stunning engagement dress. It was mainly black with red and white roses on it. I finally got to wear black to this event.
I swear I've never quarrled with my mom so much before. She wanted me to wear a pink floral dress but in the end I got my way.
My heart was almost out of me. Ashton's dad gave me a small smile as he began his speech.
Ashton was wearing a black suit. His inside shirt was white button down. He had a gold broach pinned on and his hands in his pockets. He honestly looked charming. I've never seen him in a suit before.
After about 10 minutes of talking, he finally ended by saying "Now let's proceed with this engagement. My lovley daughter-in-law to be and my handsome son please come to the stage."
I swear my cheeks have never been so red before.
We sat down on the chair as they brought out the rings. Ashton took my hand as he gently slipped on the engagement ring.
I picked up the ring and slipped it on his ring finger. What I had to do next, was the only sad thing about that day.
I hugged him as he wrapped his hands around me and hugged me back. We should be winning an award for the Best Actor and Actress.
He let go at long last. I heaved a sigh of relief.
We came off the stage and I went to look for Gabby. She spotted me instantaneously.
"Um, can you please tell me where I can find my best friend, Tiffany?" she said mischievously.
"Should we go and look for her?" I asked playfully smirking.
She gave me hug before complimenting on how gorgeous I looked in a dress. I haven't worn a dress since I was like 8 years old. So no one hasn't ever really seen me in a dress.
Before I knew it, almost everyone was gone. Time really flew by.
"Don't you dare miss my wedding you punk!" I chuckled directing my words to Gabby.
She rolled eyes and hugged me one last time before departing.
It was only Ashton parents, along with him, my mom and I left. They sat down on the couch as I was in the kitchen.
"Hey Ashton, can you come for a minute?" I yelled at least two rooms away from them.
Eventually he came looking at me with a face that was saying what do you want in a pissed way.
"So do you remember Gabby?" I questioned.
"That's what you called me for? Like really? No I don't remember her, why?" He asked annoyed.
"She's my best friend from Oakville, thought you'd at least recognize me by now. I said.
"Anyway just go back to what you were doing. And I thought I had a bad memory." I said.
He was about to leave the kitchen when my phone started ringing. It was on the counter and I was washing dishes.
I couldn't see who the caller was so I called Ashton to please give me the phone. He reluctantly did. I furrowed my brows when I saw it was Mark who was calling.
I looked at bit puzzled as I asked him to slide the answer button and put it on my ear. I used my shoulder as a hand as it braced my phone.
I mouthed a thank you to Ashton.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey, you got any spare time on you?" Mark asked.
"Well not too much why? Something up?" I asked.
"If you're busy, I don't want to bother you" he said.
"No, its ok. Wanna meet at Crystal bar on Light Street in like an hour?" I asked.
"Sure, sounds great. Okay, see you there soon." He replied before ending the call. I took the phone from my shoulder after I had dried my hands.
I went up to my room to change and remove all of the makeup on my face.
I realized one thing. Your enemy learns all of your weaknesses and in the end, can end up as the one you'd trust your life to. That was a bit like me and Mark now.
I was starting to realize it wasn't entirely his fault. I'd grown up from that fragile, little girl into a strong, independent woman.
I guess maybe that wasn't such a bad turn.
