Chapter #22 : It Was Gone

~Tonight we're fading fast

I just wanna make this last

If I could say the things that I want to say,

I'd find a way to make you stay

I'd never let you get away

Catch you in all the games we've played

So go ahead, rip my heart out,

Show me what love's all about

Go ahead, rip my heart out

That's what love's all about

I want you to want me this way,

And I need you to need me to stay

If you say that you don't feel a thing

If you don't know, let me go

If you don't know then just let me go

Let's forget the past

I swear we'll make this last

'Cause I remember the taste of your skin tonight

And the way that you looked, you had those eyes

I remember the way it felt inside

And the name of the songs that made you cry

You would scream, we would fight, you would call me crazy

When I woke, it was gone

There was no tomorrow

I want you to want me this way,

And I need you to need me to stay

If you say that you don't feel a thing

If you don't know, let me go

If you don't know then just let me go

Go ahead, rip my heart out,

If you think that's what love's all about

If you don't know then just let me go~

NICO POV

After the kiss I shared with Percy (which was magical by the way, as cheesy as that sounds), my eyes slowly fluttered open. I was expecting to meet those sea green eyes that always made my breath hitch and body tingle, but I didn't. Instead, I was met with a dark black wooden ceiling.

My eyes widened and I scrambled around. I instantly became tangled in bed sheets and knocked a pillow to the floor. Huh? What am I doing in my cabin, in my bed? I frowned and shook my head as if to clear it of my frantic thoughts. Okay, I'm awake now. So what the hell was happening?

I stumbled out of bed and stretched, cracking my spine. Was it just a dream? But it felt so real... It couldn't have been a dream, right? I ran my fingers through my tangled black hair and groaned in frustration. A dream... Please tell me it wasn't just a fucking dream. But it wasn't just a dream, was it? I'm a demigod, every dream I've ever had since I found out I was a half-blood, have always been 'special'. So what was special about this particular dream? Not that the kiss wasn't special, because believe me, it was much more than that.
