I woke up.

I threw up.

I felt like shit.

I went back to sleep.

I sweated like a pig.

I twisted in pain.

I threw up again.

I felt like shit. Absolute flaming pile of mouldy old horse shit. Nothing more, nothing less. Simple as that.

And then I passed out in bed again.

PERCY POV

"Percy, CALM THE FUCK DOWN. You're behaving like a worried housewife! He's got a flu bug, not a fatal disease, you lovesick airhead!"

I flinched at the sudden shout beside my ear. With a cringe, I stepped away from an exasperated daughter of Aphrodite and began rubbing my head, trying to rid of the high pitched ringing while juggling a tray of warm comfort foods in my free hand. Another irritating noise joined the ringing and I turned around with a scowl to find Jason with his head flung back and his mouth open in amused laughter. I couldn't believe Piper was the one screaming at me to leave Nico alone when just the other day she and the others were trying to out us to everyone. She was the matchmaking-love-girl-daughter-of-Aphrodite (even though the vegetarian girl would eat a jarful of beef covered scorpions sautéed in baby koala intestine juices than to admit it), so wouldn't this be a bonus round with extra points for me in the game of love? I just wanted to take care of my Neeks, couldn't she let me finally have that?! Geesh... There's no pleasing women.

"I think it is adorable. Aren't you supposed to take care of your partner when they fall ill?" The golden haired goddess Calypso commented innocently.

I sputtered in shock. "W-we.. Nico and I... Partn-ners... We're n-not... Uh..."

Leo cut me off by throwing an arm around his girlfriend's shoulders and grinning down at her with a sort of smug pride that made me want to all at once coo, punch holes in his eye sockets, and/or gag on my own round of vomit. "I agree with my little lady. Even though you're kind of inconspicuously suffocating and smothering Nico, it's still adorable the way you're obviously trying to hide your concern and worry for him. Dude, I'm sorry to say, but you're doing a gods awful job at playing cool and collected. Everyone can see right through that facade, man."
