The human and the dragon flew towards each other with force. Before they collided, Sarah threw a punch into his snout with the balls of black energy.
Venon shrieked and shifted in the direction of her punch, retreating backwards a bit as well. On his snout was a black scar that had been imprinted from the black energy.
"How do you like that?" Sarah said, laughing to herself.
"Not very much," Venon stated. "I don't like you very much either,"
"Thanks! That means a lot!" She cried, flying towards the dragon again while raising her fists. Venon flew backwards, trying to avoid getting hit again and leaving another scar.
"We need to help him," The Ar'gual With The Crippled Leg said while watching the battle in the sky.
"How?" Ismara said, not dating to take her eyes off Venon.
The Ar'gual was already taking the bow off his back and putting an arrow on the string. He pulled it back and aimed, letting the arrow fly once he determined it would hit.
The arrow collided with the gray human's exposed forearm, Sarah shrieked from impact and stopped pursuing the dragon.
"Nice shot," Agent 34 said, holding his hand for a high five. He awkwardly lowered it when one didn't come.
"Not done yet," The Ar'gual With The Crippled Leg said, an arrow already back on the string. He pulled it back and aimed once again, talking to them as he did. "These arrows are tipped in poison. I don't know if it will affect her due to the Black Magic she possesses, but it will surely weaken her," His fingers let go of the thin line, the arrow flying towards Braunick's new henchman once again. It pierced her leg this time, the poison seeping into her system.
Sarah took the arrows out of her body and tossed them aside. She rubbed both of the wounds as blood poured out, pain on her face.
Venon took this as a chance to attack. He rammed into her and directed them both towards the ground. They hit a building and knocked it down, dust following them as the dragon threw Sarah to the ground.
He quickly flew back into the air before she could hit him with more black energy. He hovered above the debris as it shifted again and she crawled out of it. Shaking, she flew back into the air and this time went for the three standing atop the roof.
Sarah charged at them, Agent 34 and Ismara drawing swords. The Ar'gual, however, raised his bow again and drew back the string, arrow ready. He let go once she was a foot away and it went straight through her cheek and the tip of the arrow touched her tongue.
Sarah fell out of the air and landed on the same roof as the two Destigems. Both of them charged her and stood atop of the gray human with both swords raised.
"We don't even have gems and we still beat you," Ismara taunted her.
Sarah growled and shot up into the air, the two of them jumping back and out of the way. The woman shot a beam of black energy at them both, the elves jumping out of the way and it missed them both.
Sarah shook her fist at them all and began to fly away.
"Those bow shots were amazing, dude," Venon said as he landed on a different building since he probably wouldn't fit on the one the rest of them were on.
"I'm nothing special," The Ar'gual With The Crippled Leg said. "The rest of my species is better than I'll ever be. I'm mediocre at best. I hope they're using their talents for good right now and actually fighting Braunick's forces. They waited until he got all big and powerful to do something about him,"
"They are," Agent 34 said. "They teamed up with the Zena and are helping us fight Braunick,"
"Finally they decide to do something," He said. "We could've stopped him earlier before he got all these gems, but they insisted on not doing anything because he hadn't done anything to us. That's almost how we lost our first war,"
"Woah," Ismara said. "I've never heard anything about the Ar'guals being in any war at all,"
"Yes," The Ar'gual With The Crippled Leg explained. "We've been in one or two, I've been in one. I'm the only one left that has been in the last war we had. No one knows about it due to it not being in Renya,"
"Hold on," Venon said. "Ar'guals aren't native to Renya?"
"No," He said. "Neither are verom. We both come from another continent that I believe was called Tramli. It's been a while, I don't remember much about it. All I know is that it is where a few elves migrated to when Braunick began to kill the elven villages,"
"There's more elves?" Agent 34 asked quickly, excitement fulfilling him.
"Yes," The Ar'gual said, beginning to head down from the building. "Come. We have a lot to discuss,"
The group didn't hesitate to follow him. He knew a lot more than they'd ever be able to comprehend.
