Avalon finished telling what he liked to call as The Great Tale. His apprentice stood beside him, waiting impatiently to embark on his new journey of being the God of Good for Renya.

"Did all of that really happen?" Neodeus asked his master with great curiosity.

"It absolutely did, little one," he said to his apprentice, but stopped himself. "I shouldn't be calling you little one anymore. You are soon to be the next God of Good,"

"I-I don't know—you're gonna be gone forever after I'm appointed as God?" said Neodeus nervously.

"Of course," the God of Good told him. "Once a God is appointed, they have one thousand years until they must appoint a new God, and my time has come to pass. The final minute is upon us; let us waste no time. I will explain what shall happen to my soul and yours after we are appointed."

"I will explode into the sky into a ball of light, my energy being birthed into a new star for a new galaxy. My soul, however, will transfer into a new form: one in Renya. I cannot say what it is, for I do not even know. You should be able to easily identify who I develop into in the coming years. My soul will not transfer immediately. It could even transfer a couple years before your time has come to pass. That's what my master's soul did,"

"Who did he turn into?" Neodeus asked Avalon.

"He turned into someone that goes by the name of Bradford, but likes to be called Agent 34,"

"Him? He was the previous God?"

"Yes, but he has no recollection of him serving, and neither do I, nor will I ever. I only ever discovered he was my previous master due to his otherworldly abilities. He saved Renya on his own, like I told you earlier in the Great Tale," Avalon prepared to finish their conversation, but remembered one more important detail.

"Ah, yes, one more thing," he told his apprentice. "You can't forget about the God of Evil. Malío transitions in another form and another way. He will pass on into a physical embodiment of a black hole in another universe, killing a different star. But, since I reproduce a new star, it balances the process out. In the coming years, you will see a new God of Evil appear in your realm, as will one in Renya as well. The two are mirrors. If the God defeats you in here, then the mirror in Renya will defeat the good in its world and conquer the country, like Braunick did a couple years prior. Now, come. Watch my departure. I will appoint you as the new God of Renya,"

Avalon muttered a few words under his breath, a few sparks appearing before him as a portal opened, a gateway to watch the magic unfold before them. "Do not follow me," he warned his apprentice. "Your time will come to follow in my footsteps and enter this gateway. For now, you stay in the leisure of your realm."

Neodeus watched with intensive eyes as his master stuck two fingers out to his apprentice and moved it from one shoulder to the other. He shut his eyes and said, "L¯ænan of hê dôð rîcetere orgilde sê mîn nese mâ nîede. Settendlic ôs râd rûmmôdlic."

Neodeus felt a sudden flow of newfound strength. Before he could say anything about it, Avalon departed into the portal behind him. Inside the gateway was simple space. Endless space. Nothing but the vacuum of space.

The former God of Good floated around the vast emptiness until he began to spin quickly. His body began to glow until it exploded into a giant ball of light. The new God had to shield his eyes from the light until the explosion dispersed. He looked back and spotted a newly born star spinning in the center of a new galaxy, pulling in a few pieces of rock debris and forcing it to orbit around the new galaxy.

Neodeus closed the portal, stepping away. He was surprised at the amount of power he had now. However, he pushed the urge to test it out away from his mind. His master told him that it was forbidden to use his powers for pleasure. Instead, he decided to use them to watch over Renya.

He wanted to watch over a particular person in Renya. Neodeus opened a viewing portal and began to simply watch the man from the Great Tale Avalon had told him about before his passing.

It was Agent 34.

The man was helping his wife deliver their first child, a new baby boy. Neodeus watched with curiosity as the boy cried as he was brought into the new world. The God decided to try out his newfound powers out on this newly born individual.

"Dyttan wægn clipung!" Neodeus told the child. However, the baby did not stop crying. He repeated the spell, this time with more command. The child did not stop its wailing. He tried a different command out on the newborn. He ordered it to shake its hand in a wave formation. The baby did not obey.

Neodeus was wondering why the baby boy was not answering his responses. He quickly ordered Agent 34's wife to say hello to the child, and she did it without a second in between.

The God put the pieces together slowly. He mumbled one last spell under his breath to the new mother: "Cweðan of hê Avalon."

"I think we should name him Avalon," Ismara told her husband.

The elf immediately liked the name, unaware that the child before him literally was Avalon in his newly reincarnated form. "That sounds perfect,"

The pair leaned together, sharing a kiss as their newborn, now named Avalon, stopped its crying and fell into a deep sleep.

Neodeus felt a feeling of warmth spread over him. Avalon was still alive. He had found his master in the world of Renya. Even though he couldn't completely control the child's path since he had been a previous God, he would control the paths of others around him to make his the best path anyone could have. He would be the new mentor. He was the guardian.

The End.
