Grime had spent countless hours in his basement forging the swords and armor. He occasionally came up and told them how it was going. He explained this was not Destiny branded and said it would be its own separate thing. It was going to be tougher than Destiny Armor and sharper than Destiny Swords.
The Ar'gual With The Crippled Leg had given Venon his armor beforehand because he had made it beforehand at some other time. The armor fit around the dragon perfectly. The chest piece wrapped around his scales with holes for the spikes in his back. There was multiple pieces for his tale that allowed for it to move without the armor grinding against each other. He had leg pieces and arm pieces, a helmet to go along with it. The only exposed piece of his body was his wing, which couldn't be armored or else he couldn't fly.
This was not Destiny Armor or Swords that Grime was constructing. No, this was something that was something far greater. It was not only constructed using the same material Destiny Armor had, but it also was constructed with thick steel reinforcing the inside of it as well. The blades had steel built on the inside of them as well, the hilt this time no longer being made of steel itself and being made of the same foreign material. The blade was perfectly sharp and was sharp enough to cut skin upon touch. This was Destigem Armor.
Grime was planning on making more sets of armor for all of the remaining Destigems if he ever decided to follow the rest of the Ar'guals to the Zena. He felt like he was no longer an old coop with no purpose left but to turn to dust. Grime felt like he had a reason to stay alive and not just lay around until his death. Grime was the creator of the Destiny Armor and was one of the few who still held on to the Ar'gual's legacy back in Tramli.
The Ar'gual took a look at the two sets of armor he had just created. One was white and green, the other white and purple. One for Ismara and one for Agent 34.
He picked up both sets of armor, leaving the blades down there for now. Grime carried them upstairs and towards the two Destigems waiting in his living room.
"Done," he told them as he entered. The pair nearly jumped out of their seats as he showed them the heavily enforced armor.
Agent 34 quickly took off his old and worn Destiny Armor off, slipping on the newly made white and purple armor. The white sparkled nicely and worked well with the shiny purple. Grime disappeared back into the basement as Ismara slipped on her armor.
He came back up with a blade in each hand. Both blades were white with a grey hilt at the end. A small gem was encrusted into the center of the hilt, purple for Agent 34's and green for Ismara's. A small purple circle outlined the purple gem, a green one outlining the other gem on Ismara's blade.
"These look amazing!" Agent 34 exclaimed.
"Thank you, thank you," Grime smiled. He looked out the window and saw sunlight still outside. "I guess we can leave tomorrow morning. I managed to get those done before nightfall even came,"
"Uh," Ismara looked outside. "No. Nightfall already came. You spent a full day making these,"
"I did?" Grime laughed. "Haha. We will still depart tomorrow morning. I need to rest a bit before we take off," The Ar'gual plopped himself onto the couch without worry of his hurting his leg and drifted to sleep instantly.
Rain began to pour in the night, coming down from the storm. The shelter protected them from turning into the ways of the bad and joining Braunick.
Agent 34 walked over to the window, looking out of it and into the sky which had been shadowed over by the storm.
"When's the last time the survivors of Renya have seen the sun?" Ismara asked, approaching him from behind.
The Destigem sighed as his eyes flicked down and away from the dark cloud, going into a trance. "A long time. Whoever is left in Urania hasn't seen the sun in at least two months,"
"And it's been a little over two weeks for everyone on the northeast side," She told him, standing beside him now.
"It just doesn't seem possible," he said. "to defeat a full-on cloud and my deranged brother and his army when we only have a few stragglers left of the Zena,"
"We will beat him," She looked towards him. "We have the new Destigem armor and all of the Zena to help us,"
"The Zena isn't much," The elf told her. "Most of it has been killed,"
"And it's our job to avenge him," She said, placing her finger under his chin and pulling it towards her. Agent 34 faced her now, looking into her eyes with a small fire burning.
"We will win," she repeated. "I promise," Ismara gave him a small peck before letting go and walking over to the other couch in the room and laying down on it and falling into sleep.
Agent 34 stared into nothingness for a minute before snapping back into reality and looking for a spot to sleep. There was no more couches, but there was room on the one Ismara slept on. He laid down beside her and began to drift to sleep before he felt her fingers enclose around his hand.
