The elf entered the battle with the God of Evil, his friends greeting him upon arrival, not daring to look at him as they dodged the blows thrown at them by Malío. Agent 34 looked around and didn't spot Braunick in the heat of the battle at all.

"Where's Braunick?" he yelled to no one in particular.

Thad was the one to answer. He quickly sank his fangs into Malío's leg and hopped away towards the elf for an explanation after switching to his normal form. "He must still be somewhere in one of the hallways. There's a few still back there. Why do you need him?"

"I know how to free Avalon," the elf told him sternly.

"Why didn't you do it already?" said the dwarf, flustered and irritated.

"I can't do it physically," he explained. "I have to do it symbolically. Basically, he represents all the good in Renya, Malío representing the bad. Avalon is chained up because most of the good in Renya is wiped from existence. But, if I destroy the source of the bad, Avalon will be freed and Malío will be defeated,"

Thad understood quickly, a worried look spreading across his battle-scarred face. "You cannot face Braunick on your own,"

"Avalon explained it all to me," Agent 34 said. "Braunick won't kill me. He cares too much for me. I'm the only one capable of defeating my brother,"

The leader looked at him in the eyes, tears sparkling like the ocean water. He placed his hand on his shoulder, nodding in approval. "Good luck, soldier," he told him. "You're a hero, whether you succeed or fail,"

Agent 34 tapped his hand and Thad released it from his shoulder, giving one final nod before returning back to keep Malío at bay with the rest of the Destigems. Just as he morphed back to a wolf and launched at the demon, the sinister Braunick emerged from a hallway, standing ominous in its shadows while he studied the events going on before him.

An evil smile spread across his brother's face as his eyes flickered from one part of the ongoing battle to the other. Agent 34 simply watched him as he made a dash across the room, dodging all of the men going at the God of Evil.

Agent 34 soon understood what his brother was up to. He was going back to the portal to close it and trap them all inside. The elf took off running as fast as his aching feet could
carry him, yelling at his twin as he went.

Braunick dived head first into the portal. Seconds later, the vortex began to shrink in size. Agent 34 picked up his speed, sweat
dripping ever so quickly to cool him down.

As the portal was the size of a small chair, the elf reached it and dived through it with full force, the odd cosmic-like tunnel engulfed it. The space-like mass swirled around him as he reached the end of it and popped out the other side, back into existence in Renya. He spotted his brother saying another incantation from the book, closing the portal with a pop.

"Brother!" he yelled. "How dare you!"

Braunick jumped at Agent 34's appearance, as he hadn't expected anyone to spot his getaway. "That wasn't a smart move, kid," he told the elf. "You should've just let me win in the first place and none of this would've happened,"

"Don't call me kid," Agent 34 said, drawing his blade and gripping the hilt tightly. "I'm the same age as you,"

"It's very rude to enter one's household without permission," Braunick said. "Maybe knock next time and I'll invite you in. For now, I'm going to have to ask you to leave,"

"I can't do that," the elf said, grabbing his blade with both hands now and raising it in front of his war-damaged face.

"And why is that?"

"I cannot leave until I have your head disconnected from your body," Agent 34 launched at him. Braunick flew upwards, extending his hand out into nothing and pulling a sword out seemingly from nowhere. He lowered himself to the ground and launched back at his brother, preparing to swordfight without the use of his magic.

And as the two brothers engaged in combat, the chains of Avalon snapped. The God stood up from the wall, running his hands along his wrists which were previously covered by metal. He quickly took off up the stairs, using his powers to create a sword so he could battle Malío and save the Destigems trapped in his realm.
