Once they made it to the Island of Death, the Ar'guals began construction on a new forgery for Grime after hearing of his new and improved Destigem armor.

The Ar'gual With The Crippled Leg took up in the offer immediately and within a weeks time, a forgery was now built on the side of the rebel's base as an extended room. Grime began work immediately on a set for Thad. He constructed it with white and yellow colors, the blade the same way. After that, he began work on Sercon's, the second in command at the Zena. His was constructed of orange and white.

He went down the list of the Destigems and higher-ups in the base. He did Arenia, red and white, Marque, blue and white, Vrängr, pink and white. He made a set for a kid named Ben who Thad said would need one in the coming battles. Ben's set was turquoise and white. Thad also told him to make a set for a man named Calvin, but said that Calvin was not currently with the Zena and would be given it upon his arrival. Calvin's set was light-purple and white.

Agent 34 and Ismara were instructed to begin teaching the current soldiers of the Zena better fighting techniques. They gathered the help of Marque and Arenia to try to teach them some spellweaving, but only a few gained the ability to use it during battle. It was difficult to teach soldiers something like that so quickly, but the four had managed to do it.

Thad cancelled every plan he had on evacuating. There was only one last thing they had to do and that was to pursue Lord Braunick. The dwarf began to make battle plans for it, constructing ships to carry their men and to donate their old Destiny gear to some current soldiers for extra protection. He had also been trying to jog Harper's memory about their group and their history, but nothing had worked. Before he left after their last encounter, he had managed to slip a picture of them riding atop Barjual with the other member in their group, Linx.

Thad was unsure of if they were going to overthrow Braunick. They had the last gem now, as what Agent 34 tells him, but he doesn't say exactly who or what has it. He was sure this would do something to his empire that was continually growing. Even if they failed, they might succeed in rallying the survivors who had managed to live in this harsh storm and get them to try to overthrow their king.

Braunick's eyes scanned across the words quickly, fingers ready to flip the back cover of the book to a close. Once his eyes scanned over the final word in the book, he slammed the cover shut and leaned back in his throne. He felt content with his findings and an evil smile crept upon him. With his newfound knowledge of the Gods, he knew how to open the portal. It would take a few times to practice it, but once he got it he felt like he could do it without trouble.

To summon them, he needed to gather tons of energy. It would require energy from more than himself, which he currently had tons of. Braunick had the memories of all of his family members, all that were alive, that is. He had his mother and his brother's entire past locked in a box inside his mind that only he had the key to. He had been taking the memories of his family and turning it into energy to power his evil and his spells. Braunick had only used his mother's, saving his brother's for another time due to his being more powerful for a reason he did not understand.

Braunick was going to give up a lot of his mother's memories to try to open the portal. He would use half of his and some of his mother's. Even though he was a deranged man, he still cared about his mother, even though he had no clue as to her whereabouts or if she was even alive.

To open the portal, he would need to say an ancient ritual that is only conceived by the most powerful of beings mentally and physically. He would have to endure mental pain to open it, something he had never experienced before. Braunick was sure he could do this, as he had been studying the Gods for around a month now. He wanted their powers.

The ritual itself took around an hour to open due to it being very extensive and ancient. Braunick was opening the portal to the Gods' Realm in hopes that they would bestow the power of the Gods upon him. He was worthy of becoming a God. After reading the book, he found out that becoming a God was all Braunick ever wanted. And he was going to get it.

Braunick was going to become a God, one way or another.
