Agent 34's wicked smile disappeared. A frown appeared in its place and the elf's pleasure turned into discomfort. "I will never be like you. Never," he landed on the ground and muttered that same freezing spell once again: "Hwuendlio freosan." Braunick froze again and his brother entered his mind quickly.

After finding the Black Gem, Agent 34 quickly said the curse removal spell: "Astyrung," the black swirling mass removed itself faster than the White Gem did due to the elf having more strength than before. Soon, the Black Gem was now on the ground before the evil king himself.

Agent 34 exited his mind and the stun spell wore off. Braunick was crying hysterically as his brother crushed the Black Gem under his palm, the energy going into his mind and body.

"Please! Don't kill me," he cowered before his brother.

"Now that we have established that my power is now greater than yours, open the portal," The elf said sternly.

"But—Malío!"

"Now," Agent 34 told him. "Don't make me take more gems,"

Braunick slowly pulled himself over to the big book which was the instructions on how to connect the two realms. This time, Agent 34 let him complete the ritual.

Avalon, with a swift knock to Malío's head, defeated the God of Evil. His limp body fell to the ground with a clunk, one final ear-piercing shriek being emitted before darkness engulfed him, where he truly belonged.

"Malío's dead!" Vrängr cried out in victory.

"No, he's not dead," the God of Good explained. "He's unconscious; Gods are invincible. But yes, we did win. For now,"

"What do you mean for now?" Thad asked.

"I just said," Avalon explained. "He's immortal. Eventually, if it's a couple years from now or a thousand, he will escape my chains and take the throne again. It's a process that repeats itself multiple times until our kin come to take our place of Gods,"

"Can you open a portal for us to leave?" Ismara asked, putting her white and green blade away.

"I'm sorry, little one, but that is against my control," he told her. "That's an external force and I do not control those,"

"How do we get out of here then?" Arenia asked over the Destigems as they began to freak out.

"Don't worry," Avalon soothed them. "I'm sure that elf will return soon,"

"He doesn't know how to open a portal, only Braunick does, and there is no way he will dig deep down into his heart and come back for us," Sercon cried.

"Maybe it isn't Braunick's decision," the God of Good said. "Go, go wait in the portal room, little ones. He will arrive,"

The Destigems packed up their various weapons and hauled their stuff over to where they entered the Gods' Realm. Avalon followed behind, not saying a word and ignoring their questions which they asked him.

And soon enough, another portal opened before them. It swirled in circles until a black and white figure popped out of it, which carried the unconscious body of his enemy. The Destigems gasped in horror as they saw the powerful man sling the body onto the ground before them. But it wasn't Agent 34 lying dead before them.

"Agent 34!" Ismara exclaimed, her bright smile lighting up the room.

Everyone began cheering as they recognized that the elf was now the one in control. Avalon stood behind them all and smiled to himself, clasping his hands together.

"He still has some gems, so be careful if he awakens," Agent 34 warned them. "I have yet to kill him because I was going to let all of you guys do the honor,"

"How did you best him?" Thad asked with a bright smile.

"The last gem," Agent 34 told them all. "Fáolar had been dabbling in magic and managed to create his very own spell—it has the ability to stun anyone you use it on temporarily. It is by far the most powerful spell I have ever used. He sent a message to me and gave me the gem's power mentally and told me the spell. He later gave me the curse removal spell as well so I could remove my brother's gems,"

"How did he contact you if he is.." Calvin didn't finish the question.

"He created the message before he died. He made the spell so that it would activate when my health was low and I was near death," he told them. "Now come on. We have a country to rebuild,"

"Wait," Avalon stopped them. "Little one, you've done good today. You really have,"

"Thank you, Lord Avalon," The elf smiled brightly, canceling out his black form and leaving only the white.

"Now, let me explain something to you," he told them. "I have control over the good and pure in Renya, correct? Well, occasionally, I don't have control over a few—about one in a trillion. You're the one I don't have say over. You create your own path without me interfering, which is why you were able to defeat Braunick,"

Agent 34 didn't know how to respond. He smiled with great honor and nodded to him. "I won't make you regret not having control over me," he told him.

"Do good," Avalon said to him.

Agent 34 picked up his unconscious brother and slung his body over his shoulder. He went through the portal, the rest of his friends following as the God of Good watched, smiling with satisfaction.

"I knew he could do it," he said after they all had left, the portal closing. "He was the best God we have ever had here,"
