"Okay, enough. We're moving out." Octavian's men move out, taking Iris with them.
"Agreed. Doctor?" River, let me work. "What are you doing?" Working I'll be right with you. I scan the crack. "We're not leaving without you."
I jump down, "Oh yes, you are. Bishop?"
"Miss Pond, Doctor Song, now!" That was a low blow from me but I need them safe to work.
"So, what are you?" The scan registers it as a big bang. "Oh, that's bad. Ah, that's extremely very not good."
I turn around to see Angels surround me, Don't Blink, I bounce and try to watch all of them but there are too many and one grabs my coat. "Argh!" Why am I not dead yet?
I look around and see that the Angels are worshiping the crack. "Good, and not so good. Oh, this isn't even a little bit good. I mean, is that it? Is that the power that brought you here? That's pure Time Energy. You can't feed on that. That's now power, that's the fire at the end of the universe. I'll tell you something else." I wiggle out of my jacket as the ship rumbles and run off, "Never let me talk!"

"Now, if he's dead back there, I'll never forgive myself. And if he's alive, I'll never forgive him." Good to know she cares, "And, Doctor, you're standing right behind me, aren't you?"
"Oh, yeah." I smile. I see Amy lying on a moss log with Iris close to her and I stop smiling.
"I hate you." I don't think you do River.
"You don't. Bishop, the Angels are in the forest." Octavian got to ordering his men about.
"How did you get past them?" So much concern in her eyes.
"I found a crack in the wall and told them it was the end of the universe."
"What was it?" The crack in your bedroom wall.
"The end of the universe. Let's have a look, then." I take the scanner off of River and my hearts sink.
"So, what's wrong with me?" Amy.
"Nothing. You're fine." The readings are off the charts.
"Everything. You're dying." My hearts crack.
"Doctor!" River, shut up.
"Yes, you're right. If we lie to her, she'll get all better. Right. Amy, Amy, Amy. What's the matter with Amelia? Something's in her eye. What does that mean? Does it mean anything?"
"Doctor." Oh Amy. What have I done?
"Busy." I look over at Iris quickly to see if she has any more hints. She doesn't, shes out cold, even then though I see her try to scoot closer to comfort Amy, Iris knows that she is-
"Scared."
"Course you're scared. You're dying. Shut up." Let me think. "What happened? She stared at the Angel. She looked into the eyes of an Angel for too long-" A shout stops me but I continue, "Come on, come on, come on. Wakey, wakey." My brain needs to work faster. "She watched an Angel climb out of the screen. She stared at the Angel and, and-"
"The image of an Angel is an Angel." Amy, ever so helpful Amy.
"A living mental image in a living human mind. But we stare at them to stop them getting closer. We don't even blink, and that is exactly what they want. Because as long as our eyes are open, they can climb inside. There's an Angel in her mind." I gasp and shut my mouth. The face of an Angel is visible in Amy's pupil.
"Three. Doctor, it's coming. I can feel it. I'm going to die." I won't let you.
"Please just shut up. I'm thinking. Now, counting. What's that about?" I pick up the comm, "Bob, why are they making her count?" I need answers.
