Chapter 29 (At the Party.. Enjoy!)

This is the day that the Lord has made. I am playing with the tip of my pastel colored nails as I am very nervous waiting for Rapha to pick me up. 

Oo, eto na nga to, ang araw ng kaarawan ng mama ni Rapha. As what mama said, she'd make me pretty well, I'm sure I wish I could look one but hindi eh, di talaga ko confident na maganda ako. Syempre, she'll compliment me like there's no tomorrow because she is my mother. 

I was checking out my simple dress at the mirror. Its a teal colored plain dress. Its not that puffy below, it just suited to cover my length above the knee. Strapless and thats keeping me weirdly insane since I am not used to wear this, it might fall off or whatever. What I like most about this dress is the emphasized ribbon at the back. It makes it more elegant. I took a simple skin toned flats, yes, flats. I suck at wearing heels. I requested for a messy bun in my hair, messy bun so it will just fell off anytime in the party, it would make me less hassle and more comfortable not to fix it back. 

I held my neck.. Oh my! My hearty.. It should not be absent tonight.

Nakita ko si Mama smiling while holding my heart necklace. I called it hearty because I so love the heart pendant. Papa gave this to me, that's what makes it special. Lumapit si Mama at sinuot ito sakin. 

"Anak, relax nga. Chin up baby girl, you look gorgeous like me."

"Yes, Ma! I know you would say that." I drew a fake smile and sat at the sofa waiting like  a stupid princess in eragon.

May bumusina na sa labas at bigla akong napatalon sa kinauupuan ko sa gulat. Naman! Bat bubusina pa, naman tong si Rapha talaga! It seems that I cannot pace an inch from where I sat. Ano ka ba tuhod? Kilos. Labas! 

"Yo-ou aaa-re simply, wonderful." Did I just heard him stuttered? Rapha almost drool as he said those words. (Don't think I'm making stories. I said, ALMOST!)

"Wag na mambola, panalo ka parin, may kakampi ka eh." Sabay nguso sa direksyon ni Mama.

"O mga anak, ang gaganda at ang gagwapo nyo. Picture na muna please." mama begged holding my camera.

I stood beside Rapha but still keeping a distance, kakahiya kaya. I was about to smile and look at the camera nang biglang hinila ako ni Rapha holding my waist closer to him. My position was fit to hold him at his back. I looked at him poker faced and he mouthed "ang ganda mo... promise." I rolled my eyes and mouthed back, "mambobola." He held more closer after I said that and her tight hands in my waist could reach  across my stomach. I held his back and rested my other hand on his right chest.

"Alright, great pose. 1...2....3 smile."

O, that flash Mama forget to turn off.

I can really notice in my peripheral vision na he is staring at me.

"Matutunaw na ako nyan sige ka mawawalan ka ng date tonight." as I check out my feet. Its freaking sweating. Pati paa ko kinakabahan na rin eh.

He moved his head and aimed to Mama.

"Tita, alis na kami. Babalik ko sya mga...."

"Before 12am, treat her like Cinderella tonight. Would you?" mama smiled and Rapha laughed. wow! so ano to? ako lang OP?

"Ma!" and I pouted.

"Bye anak! enjoy kayo doon." she kissed my cheek and waived goodbye.

Naglakad na kami ni Rapha papuntang sasakyan nya. He walked near me and once more...

"Di ako magsasawang tingnan ka ngayong gabi." bulong nya sakin at sinundan nya ito ng pagtingin sakin. Ang maamo nyang mukha na nakatingin lang sakin. Dun ko napansin na ang ganda nya sa suit nya. He's the most gentle in suit. Buti rin nawala na ang pasa nya sa mukha. He opened his car's door for me. He starts the engine, kailang ulit ko nang sakay sa sasakyang to pero ngayon ko lang naamoy ang scent na to. This Manly smell I could close my eyes for the essence to stay in my nostrils.
