I just wanted to thank you for 500 views! You are the best!

I woke up as the keys were being turned in the lock of my door and I stood up, groggily and walked to the door, only to be met by Olivia, who was holding the keys. I frowned.

"I was under the assumption that you weren't allowed to carry the keys?" She waved me off.
"Everyone is busy with the party, they made an exception." Yes, it was the evening of the elven party of which name Olivia didn't know how to pronounce and I couldn't just wrap my head around to remember. To my surprise, Olivia pushed herself inside my cell and sneaked behind me, leaving the door open just a smidge. Now, I noticed the silvery band on her hand.
"Is that Legolas's?"
"Yes, it is. I got bored that he ignored me all the time as he was planning for the party, so I decided to entertain myself. I suppose he will come looking for me any minute and if you would be so kind that to cover for me." She spoke at a rapid pace and I smirked at her and nodded.
"I will cover for you. But you have to promise me that you take full responsibility, I don't want to be executed.. or anything." She waved me off again.
"Nah, Legolas understands that it is a joke. I pull this stuff with him all the time, he's used to it." I still felt hesitant but I leaned on the cold, smooth surfaces of the rocky doorframes. A slightly annoyed male voice was coming down from the stairs and I glanced at Olivia, who gave me a smirk. I quickly smiled back and turned my focus on the elf that was coming down the stairs. It was him. He seemed annoyed.
"Bea, have you seen Olivia? She has my headpiece and I need it for the evening." I forced my face into a dull expression and looked at him from between the bars.
"Do I look like I have seen her? I'm bored beyond words." I groaned and he just shook his head.
"I see. If you do see her, please tell her that I need that headpiece back." I nodded and watched him walk away. After he was out of my sight, I turned to Olivia who started to giggle.
"Good work! Now, quickly, before he comes back!" She pulled me along with her out of the cell, and just as we were about to enter the staircase, Legolas appeared on the other side of the room that held the cells.
"There you are. Now, please hand over the..." He didn't get the change to finish the sentence as Olivia has dashed into the staircase and dragged me along with her.

The chase took hours, there were so many places to hide for us, and the kingdom was huge. Legolas caught us as we were sneaking around near the cells, and he pushed Olivia against the wall gently, and I just stayed still, leaning on my cell door to catch my breath.
"We did better than I suspected. I thought that you would catch us sooner. You, sir, are getting slo..." Her sentence got cut off by his lips. I faked a grimace.
"Get a room." Legolas let go of Olivia and looked at me with a puzzled expression.
"We already have a room." I giggled at his face and Olivia chuckled as well.
"It's a saying that we have on the place that we are originally from. It means something like that we should limit our displays of affection into our room." Legolas nodded and I waved my hand to Olivia.
"I suppose you have to get going and start preparing yourself to the party. Have a nice evening you two!"

Olivia stopped by my cell tad bit before the party, but I didn't get a word out of my mouths before she started to panic about, well, everything. She was having a full "before-the-party-meltdown", but I managed to calm her down enough so I could do her hair. She wanted a simple braid, but a concept of "simple braids" is foreign to elves, according to her words, so I braided her hair into a french braid. She thanked me like a thousand times, and I whispered her the sentence I had been repeating all day long.
"Remember the thing with the weapons." She nodded and hurried away and I sat down on my bed and laid down on it. I didn't think that I would be able to sleep in the noises that were coming from the top of the kingdom, but I still somehow managed. The elves partied pretty loudly. I, also surprisingly, only woke up two times during the night and them both were because of nightmares.
