Luke was walking to his locker when Calum poked his shoulder. Luke turned to him and saw his smile. Calum had a paper in his hands. Luke was still looking at Calum's smile.
"Look what I got!" Calum said literally screaming.
"Wow slow down. Don't ever scream in my ear like that again." Calum's face went down for a second. Then he smiled again.
"You're so grumpy. But you can't make me sad. Luke look at this!" Calum throw the paper to Luke's face and started to shaking him.
"This is a paper Calum." Luke mumbled.
"Look what's written on it." He looked at the paper and a wide smile appeared on Luke's face. He looked at Calum's face.
"That's right baby I got a B." Luke was so happy that didn't really care about Calum called him baby.
"Oh my god! Calum you did it. Oh my god you got a B." Luke jumped. Calum jumped like Luke.
"I know right!" Luke felt like a mom who was proud of his son. He looked at Calum with a smile.
"I told you that you were smart Calum. You're a smart kid." Calum tucked his chin into his shoulder and smiled. Like a kid. And that was the most adorable thing Luke ever seen. He smiled. And remembered he had a class.
"I um I have to go now. I have history. See you later?" Luke handed Calum his paper. Calum looked down for a second.
"Yeah." He watched Luke walking away.

Luke haven't seen Ashton so he decided to call him.
"Hey Ashton." He heard sniffles on the other line.
"Ashton you're okay?" More sniffles.
"I um yeah I just no I'm not." Ashton started to cry again. Luke didn't know how to comfort people when you're talking on phone.
"Shh. What happened Ashton?"
"My grandma..." He was crying really hard. Luke understood what Ashton meant. His grandma died. Luke knew how important Ashton's grandma for him.
"Oh Ashton. I'm so sorry." Ashton sniffled. Luke couldn't let Ashton face this on his own. He decided to ditch school and go to Ashton's house. Ditch? And Luke? No. This wasn't gonna end good but Luke needed to do this.
"Ashton I'm gonna be there soon okay?"
"What Luke no. You can't ditch your classes. No I do-" Luke was already hesitant about doing this and Ashton complaining about this would make Luke give up on his thought. So he cut off.
"Oops too late. See you soon."
"Wait wha-" Luke hung up. And started to run. It was lunch time and no one was around. He could easily sneak out. He opened the door and took a quick look around to see anyone was there.
"What are you doing?" Luke felt a hand on his arm and jumped.
"You scared hell out of me." The blonde boy screamed. Calum squeezed taller boy's arm.
"Stop it. You're gonna make us caught." Luke's eyes widened.
"Us? What do you mean?" Calum smirked.
"I know what you're doing. Since it seems like you don't know what to do I thought I can help you." Luke pushed Calum's hand away from his arms.
"I don't need help. All I have to do is walk out of this door." Calum laughed.
"Please tell me you don't think this is it." Luke looked at dark haired boy and shrugged.
"Sorry but I do." Luke opened and took a step but Calum grabbed his arm again.
