Luke was walking to his locker to get his books for history when he saw Calum. He looked so tired and having trouble with walking. Luke took a look at Calum's whole body. His eyes were kind of red and he had his t-shirt inside out. Luke noticed his hands. They were purple and red. They were bloody. Luke held his breath and ran over Calum.
"Calum what happened?" Calum looked up to Luke with an empty impression.
"Oh, hey uhm Luke?" It came out like a question. Like he forgot Luke's name. Calum rubbed his eyes. Luke grabbed Calum's hands and looked at them. God knows what did he do. There were dry blood on them and some of the points were still bleeding. His knuckles were all purple. Calum winced a little when Luke touched them.
"What happened to your hands?" Calum didn't pull his hands from Luke.
"Um just some stuff. Don't worry about it." He shrugged.
"Don't worry about it? Calum you're hands are still bleeding are you kidding me?" Luke pulled Calum to the bathroom to wash his hands.
"I wasn't kidding." Calum said but Luke didn't care what he said. They heard the bell rang, Luke tried to clean Calum's hands faster but he end up hurting him. Calum pulled his hands from Luke.
"Don't." He said while wiping them on his pants. Luke sighed, at least he cleared them. Luke was a little glad that they had the same class. They got out from the bathroom and walked to the class. Luke looked in to see if teacher came. He stepped back when he saw the teacher in.
"Calum I can't go in." Calum looked at him.
"Why? It's simple. You knock the door and walk in." Luke started to breathe fast. He put his back against the wall. Calum once saw Luke doing this again. He put his hands on Luke shoulder.
"Calm down. It's alright Luke." Luke looked down trying to catch his breath. Why this happens everytime I got nervous? Luke asked himself. He tried to breathe in but he felt his lungs were full and couldn't have any air in them. But Luke didn't have any air in his lungs. What the hell was happening? He let himself fall on the the ground still has him back smack against the wall. Calum sat down on his knees shaking Luke.
"Luke? Look at me!" Calum cupped Luke's face made him looking at him. Luke's face was looking up but his eyes were still looking down. 'Calm down Luke. Calum is with you. You can't break in front of him.' Luke said mentally while taking a deep breath. He looked at Calum and tried to smile then turned his head.
"I'm okay. I'm okay." He said while trying to get off from Calum's grip on him. Calum let go of him. Luke was still breathing fast but at least he was breathing. He closed his eyes for a bit and sighed.
"You sure?" Calum asked while getting up. He extended his hand to Luke and helped him got up too.
"We don't have to go in there. If you don't want." He said but Luke shook his head.
"Okay so can you you knock the door? Um because I.." Calum said while moving his hand. Luke took a deep breath, knocked the door and they got in. Calum was walking normal but Luke was trying hide after him after they got seated Calum turned to him.
"Look it's not that bad." Luke looked down and mumbled a 'sorry' before Calum turned back to his desk. He put his head between his arms and closed his eyes. Maybe it's better to let him sleep he looked so tired. Luke thought and let Calum sleep but he kept glancing at him.
Calum was mumbling something when Luke turned his face to him. Calum's lips were moving he was talking but Luke wasn't really understanding. Calum kept talking mumbling. Luke was still trying to figure out what he was saying. He only could hear a few things like 'wait' 'no'. Calum moved a little and started to talk a little louder. Luke touched his arm and Calum opened his eyes with screaming "Mali!!" Everybody stopped what they were doing and started to stare at Calum. Luke squeezed Calum's arm a little.
