2.12 Haunted Kidney

  Night. At the factory. 

I walked through the factory, trying to find Jonny. Something was wrong with that guy. I saw him starring at a mannequin. 

I grabbed his shoulder and he looked at me shocked. 

Me "come on"

i pulled him with me into a room and put salt on the windows and door frame. 

Jonny asked scared"What's going on? "

i looked at him. His forehead was bleeding. 

Me "That was a ghost trying to kill you for being a dick. "

Jonny asked confused "What?"

Me " You know what? You're lucky you are the most suspicious interview of all time. I figured something like this would happen. "

Jonny "Figured something like what would happen?"

Me "Buddy, look, I don't have time for the big speech, all right? So, brass tacks -- Rose is back."

 Jonny "That's crazy!"

I walked to him "Look, you're gonna end up like your friends Unless you tell me what you did to Rose. Do you want me to help you or not? "

Jonny took a deep breath "It was just a stupid joke. You know, I mean, you -- you -- you play jokes. We didn't think it was that big of a deal. "

I raised an eyebrow " What did you do? "

Jonny "We made Rose think she had a secret admirer. I don't think the girl had ever been asked out in her life. Honestly, we just thought she was kind of pathetic...So we knew she'd take the bait. She was so excited. The poor girl never saw it coming. It was mean. But you know how it is when a group of guys get together. They -- they act like jackasses. It happened so fast...sh-she hit her head on the table. We didn't mean for it to happen. And then it was too late.  Steve said there was only one option. I wish I could take it all back. "

I nodded " I'm sure you do. "

Jonny looked down " I didn't kill her. "

I nodded " Okay.Then Look me in the eyes and tell me none of it's on you. "

he didn't move. 

I sighed "Look, I'm not saying you deserve to die but I can help you. "

Jonny looked at me confused "How?"

Me "You have to tell me where she's buried. "

Jonny "In the woods, a clearing off Canyon Run Road. "

I nodded and sent Sam a text to do the work.

My phone buzzed and Jonny jumped up. 

I answered the call "Sam?"

Sam "It's done"

I nodded "okay"

Then i hung up. 

Next day. Morning. 

I sighed and walked into the crime scene. Jonny's dead and i have no idea how that happened. 

I called Sam. 

Sam "Lena?"

Me " Hey, we have a problem"

Sam asked kinda annoyed "who died now?"

Me "Jonny"

Sam asked confused "how? i thought i burned Rose's body?"

I nodded "you did but that didn't stop her. She's got to be hooked to something else. "
