I looked at Meg and then put the words of God into the bag.

Meg "What are you guys caught up in now? "

Me "none of your business"

Meg raised her eyebrows " I deserve to know, Elena. "

I shot her a look.

Meg scoffed "Okay, fine. I'll hit the road, then. Let me just go get my angel. "

She walked out of the room.

I followed her "Meg! what are you talking about? Stop. "

She turned to me "We both call, who do you think Cas will come to? I'm guessing me. You heard him – thorny beauty, blah, blah. I'm the saint who stayed with him. He owes me. His words. "

Me "Yeah, what about what he owes us? "

Meg " Well, work on him a little. Maybe he'll start crushing on you, too, hot stuff. "

I asked irritated " What are you gonna do with a broken angel? Don't be stupid."

Meg" I'll take power where I can get it. I've got myself to look out for. "

Suddenly there was a noise. We rushed into Cas's room and the bag was gone.

I froze "What in hell?"

Meg and i looked at each other. Suddenly i started running out of the building and i saw a kid with the bag running away. I ran after him.

I yelled "Hey! "

The kid yelled "No, stop! Leave me alone! Aah! "

I rolled my eyes and kept running. He was clearly faster than me.

suddenly he tripped and fell to the ground.

Meg was standing there.

I walked over to them.

The boy was on the ground and holding on that bag for dear life.

Meg "Not a demon nor a chomper. What the hell are you? "

The kid breathed out "I'm a... K-Kevin Tran. I'm in advanced placement. P-p-please don't kill me."

I shook my head and helped him to his feet " I'm not gonna kill you. "

Then i tried to take the bag back but he didn't let go.

Kevin " I'm sorry. "

I pulled again but he didn't let go.

Kevin sobbed out " I-I'm sorry. I... I don't – I don't know why, but I can't let go of this."

Meg and i looked at each other annoyed.

In Cas' room.

Kevin was sitting on the beg with the bag still in his grip.

Meg "You really stepped in it, kid. Oh, man. "

Kevin "All I know is, this is – it's for me. I'm supposed to keep it."

Meg " Good luck. "

I asked annoyed "do you even know what this is?"

He shook his head.

Me "Open it. "

Kevin unzipped the bag and withdraws two pieces of the stone tablet. He fit them together and they knit back together with a brief flash of white light.
