I walked into the kitchen and saw Dean sitting there with a beer in his hand.
Me "Really?"
Dean " It's 6:00 p.m. somewhere. "
Me "You drink that you won't be able to drive and we need to get Cas to that lab by friggin' 3:59 a.m.? "
Dean shook his head " We don't. "
I sighed "Dean"
Dean " we can't bring the horse to water, and we can't make it drink. Why fool ourselves? "
I shook my head "you're not funny"
Dean "i'm not trying to be funny, babe"
I took a deep breath "Cas is still in there somewhere. I know it. "
He shook his head " No, you don't. "
I nodded "No, I don't. But, look, I was pretty far gone sometimes myself, and never gave up on me. "
Dean" Yeah, and it turns out that you're about the Same open book as you've always been. "
I rolled my eyes "okay, stop drinking, Dean"
Dean "Tell me how easily you could forgive your father"
I sighed,shaking my head "i'm not having this conversation with you"
Dean "Well, then i will not stop drinking"
He took a sip of his drink.
I crossed my arms over my chest "what do you want me to say?"
Dean "you forgot what he did to us?"
I shook my head "of course not!"
Dean"well, seems like it. you just went happy family with him....as if it doesn't matter what he did to us. What he put you through--"
Me "hold on, hold on, Dean, you seem to forget that the both of you hurt me!"
He looked at me "and you will never let that go, huh?"
I asked completely pissed off "okay what is this? just because you are mad at Sam doesn't mean you, my boyfriend, can try and go back on my bad side"
Dean took a sip of his drink.
Me "the truth is, Dean, you weren't there when i broke down outside, when i showed him the pain you and him put me through. He may have been the one that come up with the idea but do not forget that you finished that job"
Dean "i'm sorry. I already told you i was sorry"
Me "and i told you that it's gonna take time for me to fully trust you again, okay? i'm not gonna be all happy-family with him just because he's my father and i will not forgive him so easily for breaking my heart either"
