Chapter 4: The Battle Within

Hinata's P.O.V

I blew out a quick breath before placing my long hair up into a high ponytail, to perhaps place it out of the way.

I smiled as I stared at myself in my mirror, my bottom sitting on a white stool that was in my room.

"I'm ready." I whispered out while I stared at my pale, lavender eyed face in the mirror in front of me.

I smiled some more but my mind suddenly went back to the man I met yesterday.

The werewolf that made me..

I shook my head and stood up, fixing my black jean jacket that was placed over a red blouse on my upper body.

A black skirt was also added to my attire as well as black stockings that stopped to my mid thigh.

I then, had black high heels on my feet to finish my look.

I shook my head once more when I caught myself blushing.

I can't think about him.

I have to put him behind me.

Whatever happened between us, can't continue.

It's forbidden...

And I, can get in serious trouble if I were to get found out.

I sighed and lowered my head down but a knock to the door came through to my ears making me alert.

I turned to it quickly and then vanished towards it, launching out to open it.

When I did, two men stood there, their faces stoic. "Are you ready, Princess?" One of the bodyguard's asked as both men bowed at me.

I smiled at how formal they were and stepped out in front of them, closing the door behind me "Y-Yes." I replied back hesitantly as they stared at me intently.

One of them had brown curly hair with green eyes, his attire mostly white while the other one had blonde hair with brown eyes, his attire consisting of black jeans and a plaid blue shirt.

They nodded but then cleared their throats, the blonde one staring at me with a smile "Names, Don. And he's Zan." He said making me smile, their names fitting perfectly with their faces.

I raised my hand out and shook both of their hands softly, smiles now etching their faces "I'm so glad to meet you." I said politely and placed my hand away, their hands falling down to their sides.

Don grinned and nodded at me "So, are you ready to hunt tonight, Princess?" He asked while we turned and started to walk towards the front entrance.

I nodded, almost sensing my bloodlust and hunger. "Of course. I'm starving." I giggled out making them chuckle.

"You should do fine tonight. Let's not go so far from the Vampires district. No werewolves should get us there." Zan said softly and eyed me carefully as I walked.

I nodded and lowered my head, a part of me hoping to meet back up with that mysteriously sexy werewolf.

But I quickly shook it off..

He shouldn't be on my mind..

I just need to focus on feeding successfully tonight.

We all then vanished outside through the forest, our speeds unimaginable.

I kept following my bodyguards through the forests until they stopped.

I stopped as well, landing carefully on the grass below me on my high heels, behind them.
