Naruto's P.O.V

I gripped my blonde bangs in pure frustration, unimaginable hurt taking over my body and soul. Hinata wasn't where we thought she was so…

Where is she?

The rest of the vampires, including Toneri have also left this place so they have to be somewhere in the forest…

Maybe they left a little earlier than we did

The forest is a large place so, if they did so happen to leave earlier than I wouldn't have heard them since they're probably out of range..

I gritted my teeth at that, trying desperately to figure out what the hell was going on.

If they did leave the kingdom, where did they go…

And why..

Hmm..

There's something suspicious going on and I, don't like it.

I growled but turned towards Ino who was staring down the hall at a running Sasuke, a paper held in his hand.

At the sight of us, he waved it back and forth, signaling that what he found was important.

I perked up at that, my eyes widening on his moving form. By his speed, it didn't take him long to make it to us, sadness now found in his eyes.

Ino frowned at that. "Sakura, wasn't there, was she?" She asked quietly, sorta already knowing the answer to her question. I decided to only stay quiet, a frown coming upon my lips once I saw Sasuke nod.

He sighed, a deep one. "Afraid so. She wasn't there but, this, was.." He acknowledged and finally, revealed the paper which rests in his hands, also rattling a bit when moved, my eyes widening upon it…

Hmm.. A note?

Sakura left, a note?

Everyone just stood and watched as Sasuke pulled up the note Sakura wrote, the emo vampire's eyes saddened entirely.

His shoulders also, slumped. "When I went into her room a while back, I saw everything was clean, like no one has stepped foot in it all day. But when I began to dig around, I ended up finding this, behind one of her pillows. Figured she was hiding it from one of the guards. Maybe, she knew, we were coming." He declared, now with narrowed eyes, his hands clutching the paper tightly. Not too tight to cause the fragile item harm but just enough to show how much he cared about the situation… Cared about..

Sakura…

It was very identical to the way I cared for Hinata. I smiled…

I guess, having a mate could really drive someone crazy..

Not that I mean, having a mate is horrible..

No..

I mean, that having a mate could really change you, as a person. Every emotion is heightened when it comes to them. You love this creature, more than anything and would die trying to protect them. Having a mate is something that's pleasant to us all.

It changes us, for the better…

I couldn't help but smile at my thoughts, my blue eyes turning back to the problem at hand.
