The cool night whipped past me fiercely as I stood in front of my enemies, fourteen werewolves surrounding me and Hinata.

Amy had now dragged my mate to a nearby tree where she laid exhaustingly against, her hands desperately trying to take the stake out, which was buried in her chest still.

My red glowing eyes stared back into Amy's, my feet slowly moving towards my mate. I didn't care for her jealousy or, for her words. All I cared for was Hinata.

I have to go to her...

So quickly, I vanished over to her which caused some of the werewolfs to growl and quickly began to move forward, to pounce, but Amy placed one hand up, her eyes squinting at me.

She scoffed, stopping them. "Hold it! Let the traitor go to the vampire.. I'll at least give him that." She ordered with a nod which successfully halted the angry beasts, my body vanishing in front of Hinata's.

I grimaced at the sight of her in so much pain, my knees dropping down to the ground to grow closer to her. I cupped her face, quickly noticing that she was trembling and..

Crying..

She sniffed constantly, whimpering as she stared up into my eyes. She then sobbed, shaking her head. "Naruto.. Please, remove it. I-It hurts so bad. Please." She pleaded desperately, one of her bloody hands moving up to cup my hand that was propped on her face, my heart breaking to see my mate in so much pain.

Every bit of my emotions at the moment was heightened to the max because of my mate's state. I felt immense sadness, guilt and most importantly..

Rage...

I wanted to tear every last werewolf here into pieces, and Amy included. I want to rip her head from her body and show my parents that no one will stand in the way of my future. The future with my vampire mate.

Absolutely..

No one..

I breathed in deeply to calm myself and then moved my eyes down to the stake that was just inches from Hinata's heart, the large wood sticking out proudly from her chest.

Blood of red stained her clothes completely, surrounding the stake entirely. I gritted my teeth and looked back at Hinata, my other hand moving down to lightly grab the base of the wooden stick.

My eyes met back with her and I swallowed deeply. "Alright, Hinata. This, is gonna hurt.. really bad. I'm gonna pull it out quick. But first, I need you to.." I trailed off and moved my hand off of the stake to grab her free hand, moving it up to my shoulder.

I smiled softly at her, keeping her face rooted on me, and only me. I knew there were angry, snarling werewolfs, behind me, watching my every move but... I wanted to shield her from all of that.

It was just me and her, right now.. And that's all that matters.

I placed her hand tightly on my shoulder and she squeezed it, Amy's eyes narrowing spitefully behind me.
