Mascot

Izuku was trying to read a book in class until he felt something on top of his head.

It wasn't a hand.

He curiously looked up and saw Shoto staring down at him, Izuku patted his head and took off the thing Shoto placed on his head.

It was a headband with cat ears, looking realistic and very soft, the only thing off was how it was green but he guessed Shoto specifically made it that way, he looks up to him for an answer before realizing the reason why Shoto wasn't saying anything was because Shoto was staring into his eyes.

Huh.

Either way he sees no harm in wearing it, he places it back on his head. It feels somewhat nice there for some reason.

A few moments later he felt a nice warm hand pet him, he glances, Shoto was still there and petting him, Izuku will allow it, he likes being pet.

"Oi what the fuck, get away from him you bastard" Izuku's eyes open and he glances at Katsuki who was giving Shoto a stare down now.

"It's fine Kacchan, he's just petting me" Izuku says, Katsuki squints in suspicion before sitting back at his chair, Izuku sighed, feeling Katsuki's gaze drill holes in his back.

It was during class that his classmates suddenly had an idea.

"A mascot would be nice, wouldn't it, Iida-kun?"

"Huh?"

Even though they were instructed to study a book and make an essay about it, all the others just tuned out except Izuku who was engorged by the book. Honestly they others were just looking for a reason not to do their work.

"What do you mean Uraraka-chan?" Kirishima asks.

"Like a class mascot! I head that class 3-A had an octopus for their mascot! They even have an actual octopus in an aquarium in their class!" Shoto suddenly got the idea.

"Izuku can be the mascot" Shoto declares, Izuku was suddenly snapped out of his book.

"Huh?"

"Uh snake...? That's not really-" Shoto points at the cat ears on top of Izuku.

"...that could work, Izuchan acts like a cat anyways!" Mina says.

"What?! I do no-" in that instant Kaminari was trying to turn on a laser with no charge on but with his quirk it activated.

Right on Aizawa-sensei.

Izuku lunged out of his seat and to his teacher. Aizawa grunts.

"Hey what the-?!" Aizawa's eyes widen, seeing Izuku try to catch the laser now on the white board, he sighs and stands up.

"Okay who turned on the laser" everyone pointed at Kaminari who was still holding the laser, shocked.

"Detention after class" Aizawa grunts, taking the laser off him. Izuku seemed confused as to where the laser went,

"Aizawa-sensei?" Izuku said, looking up to Aizawa with confused eyes, Aizawa had his quirk activated to stare down back at him,p.

"...It's fine, it's gone, go back to your seat, Izuku" Aizawa said with a strange tint of fondness in his voice, he gently pet Izuku's head before turning to the class.
