We returned home the next day after Luna's wedding, and it was nice to have some downtime. Well, maybe, downtime. The finishing touches put on Lyric and Michael's wedding.

I helped Dad design Lyric's cake, while Nixon got the chapel ready for the wedding. Nathan, Noah, and Nolan were busy with the hall. Our ma and aunts made sure all tuxes and dresses were in place while Nana and our great aunts took care of the flowers.

Everyone was coming in for the wedding: cousins, uncles, aunts, and more of Michael's family. When Luna and Major returned from their honeymoon, they would join us.

Everything was in place, and I think it relieved Lyric to get married finally.

The four of us sat there the night before the wedding, hanging out together. My sisters stayed the night. Like one last hurrah until I got married.

Then the door opened. "You know, if you hang, you can't forget me," Luna said as we smiled at her. She grinned as she ran over to us, tackling us.

Ma and Dad heard the commotion and came out to see what was going on. "Luna?" Dad said.

"Hey folks," Luna grinned.

"I thought you weren't getting in until late?" Ma asked.

"Well, I told Major that I wanted to spend time with my fellow quints. He thought it was a good idea, and here I am," she grinned.

Ma and Dad smiled as they joined us but not before getting ice cream. We all sat around eating ice cream and talking.

"Are you scared?" Luna asked Lyric.

"Honestly? No. When I met Michael as a kid, I didn't know that this would happen. When Daniel died, I thought I would never be happy again," Lyric said with somberness.

"And are you?" Lakin asked her.

"I am so happy," Lyric said wistfully.

"It was hard to see you that day. When you found him," I said to her. They all looked at me. Maverick and I took Lyric to check on Daniel. When we heard her screams, we ran up to the second floor only to find her troubled. It was hard watching her deal with that.

She looked at me. "But you did the best thing. You called Dad," she said as she placed her hand on top of mine.

"He was the only one that I knew you would listen to when something upsets you," I told her.

"That's not true," Larkin said. We all looked at her. "Lex, you are the mini version of Dad. Even your voice is the same. If it weren't for you, none of us would have survived college."

"It's true. Even though we give you shit, you still help us just like Dad does," Lakin added.

"Baby brother, you are everything to us," Luna told me.

I looked at my sisters. As crazy as they can be, they were still my sisters. We shared a womb for eight months together. We had a bond that was like no other.

"I think you all are crazy, but I love you equally," Dad said. Thanks for ruining the moment, Dad.

Ma playfully smacked him as he chuckled. "What? It's true. But I wouldn't trade it for anything," he said.

As we sat there and talked, we laughed. We talked about the things we did as kids. It was nice to have this time with my family. I had a feeling it wasn't always going to be this way. It's times like this you have to cherish the memories because one day, it could rip.

The next day, we all got up and got ready. My sisters and Ma were helping Lyric get ready while I finished dressing. I stood in the mirror and straightened my tie as Dad knocked on my door.

"Ready?" Dad asked.

"Yeah," I said as I fixed my collar. I walked over and picked up my suit coat and put it on. Dad checked me and made sure I straightened everything.

We walked out of the room and went downstairs. There was a knock at the door. I opened it to find the limo driver waiting.

Dad turned and yelled, "Lyric! The limo is here!"

"Coming!" Lyric yelled.

Ma and my sisters came down the stairs; then, Lyric appeared dressed in her wedding dress. She descended the stairs gracefully as she walked over to Dad.

"You look beautiful, baby girl," he said to her as she smiled. She placed her hands on his shoulders and kissed him on the cheek; then, he ushered her to the limo.

They climbed in to find us waiting. Then Dad said, "Take us to the Gray Chapel."

"Yes, sir," the driver said.

He pulled out as we made our way to the chapel. Here we go. Lyric was finally getting married.
