trying to sneak out of dauntless to visit your family and Eric catches you

At your choosing ceremony, you had decided to join dauntless. 'Faction before blood' that was how it's supposed to be from now on. But that's not how you felt, you missed your family, especially your brother. You walked across the dauntless grounds, late at night, trying to sneak out without being caught. You had almost reached the exit, when you heard a voice in the dark.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you."
You spun around and looked into the cold eyes of Eric. He was leaning against a wall, watching you.
"I was just... - "
"Don't bother. I know what you were doing. Sneaking out and visiting your old faction. You better forget about that."
"I...yes."
"You're dauntless now, forget your old life."
"Technically I'm not yet, still an initiate."
"Don't get smart with me, or you'll have enough time to visit people when you're factionless."
You looked scared now, the last thing you wanted to be was factionless. Sure you missed your family but was it worth risking everything here?
"Get back to your room and I might forget I saw you." Eric says with a serious look.
"...Thank you."
