Respect

****************************

Today, everyone seemed to be disobedient. It's the third day since the transfers got here, it doesn't seem like any of them get the memo yet. You stand in front of the group, patiently waiting for the few in the back to stop talking before you punish them. Eric isn't around, so you know they're safe, for now. "If you guys don't shut up the whole group is running til you drop." You announce loudly. Little did you know, Eric had just silently walked in, a few yards behind you. Still, the boys continue to talk. A girl in the front turns around and shushes them, saying she's not getting punished for them. You mentally note to not make her run as much. "Alright, that's it. You, with the blond hair, Yeah, you, get his attention." You tell the boy standing beside the two talking. He pushes the dude's shoulder and motions to you. "Can I help you, sweetheart?" He asks. You glare, crossing your arms and staring at him. Eric watches quietly, ready to step in, already hating this boy. You smirk. "Come here." You say sternly. He gives you a cocky look, walking nonchalantly up to the front. "So you didn't hear me telling ya to shut up, or you just don't care?" You ask. He stands there, slightly taller, looking at you with an attitude. "Oh what? Now you wanna be quiet? I don't know if you got the memo, but you listen to me. Or, you're done, and factionless. Would you like that?" You threaten lowly, getting into his space. He just glares at you. "I'm not afraid of you, sweet cheeks." He says. You've had enough. "Oh, really? Oh shit! I wasn't aware you were calling the shots around here?! Excuse me!" You exclaim sarcastically. "You are going to be pairing up and fighting today! Since we're off to a late start, no thanks to his royal highness here. So, you will be fighting me." You smirk. He chuckles. "By all means." He says, stepping up into the ring. You motion to him to make the first move, and he goes to swing at your face. You catch his wrist, twisting it and putting him into an arm-lock, easily. He yelps and you get a few hits into his gut, slamming him onto the ground. You kick his body on the ground, then bend down and mumble. "Done showing of yet, kid?" You ask. He glares at you, and shakes his head. You stand at his submission. "You will follow orders, or you will end up like him, or factionless. And believe me, you don't want someone like Eric or Four having to discipline you guys..." You threaten, crossing your arms and looking over the group. "First jumper, last jumper, in the ring." You announce and head off. You spot Eric heading over and wonder how much of that he saw. "Threatening to make them factionless now? Starting to sound like me.." He mumbles, the last part more quietly into your ear. You smile lightly as he walks past you, over to the ring. The boy is already off to the side, grumbling to someone about you being ridiculous. "Hey! Are you stupid or something? Shut the hell up!" He hollers. You withhold a chuckle, smirking at the quivering boy. "20 points from this initiate! And everyone here will be running an extra mile, thanks to him." He gets in the boy's face. "You better learn some self control, doesn't seem like your bonk mates like you much now... Hope you don't get thrown over the chasm..." He mumbles, the boy shaking and nods in submission. "All of you will do exactly what Y/N says, the first time, with no complaints. You will respect her... If I hear otherwise, you will deal with me..." He threatens, and everyone averts their eyes. You feel bad for the girls here, they were behaving, but you know they need to learn. "What's your name?" He asks the boy. "Darren." He replies. "In the ring, let's see if you're half as good as I'm sure you think you are." He commands. "Alexander, in the ring." He hollers, and some buff guy steps in with this Darren boy. Eric steps down and stands beside you, muscular arms crossed over his chest. You watch them fight, even though all you can think about is the man beside you. "You need to make them respect you." He mutters, staring ahead intently. You roll your eyes. "I don't want them to hate me," You respond quietly. You can't help but glance at him, much taller than yourself, tattoos prominent on his biceps. He always looks ridiculously good, without trying at all. He rolls his eyes and looks down at you. "You're too sweet." He mutters, going soft for a minute, adoring you. "Well I got you to be crazy for me, no need for us both to be." You joke quietly, getting the slightest smile out of him before he returns to glaring at the initiates. "Alright, that's enough for now... Go get a drink then you're gonna run five miles with Four!" You announce and they groan and rush for their waters. "How much longer you got?" Eric asks you, hand on your arm. You look up at him, hiding your smirk. "Twenty minutes.. I might go get some drinks with Tanya or somethin though..." You tease. "No, you won't. My apartment, soon as you're done." He commands. You pull your arm away, crossing it with your other. "And what if I don't want to?" You ask, quirking an eyebrow. He glares at you, wanting nothing more than to bend you over his leg right here, but he composes himself. "You do want to though, don't ya?" He mumbles knowingly. "You will respect me, Y/N, or I'll have to punish you..."
