Long Lost Love

Summary: Can you please write a imagine with Raphael Santiago from Shadowhunters. Where the Reader was with him together were the both were Mundes. But as Raphael became a Vampire, he broke up with her. Years later the Reader is also a Vampire and she is a member of the London Vampire Clan. She must meet with the Leader from the New York Clan. She doesn't know the Leader is Raphael. When they meet Raphael saw the necklace that he gives her as he was a human. In the end they come together.

Raphael and I had been together for almost two years and this is the longest we've gone without seeing or talking to each other. I decided to go to his house and see if he was there.

"Hello Mrs. Santiago, is Raphael here?" I politely ask her.

"He hasn't told you?" she asks.

"Told me what?" I ask nervously.

"It would be better for him to tell you," she hands me a paper with an address on it, I look at her and she smiles softly.

"Thank you Mrs. Santiago," I turn and head to the address on the paper. I take a cab and think about what's happened to Raph.

I pay the driver once we stop and I get out, walking to the floor of the apartment. I knock on the door and a few seconds later a man wearing extravagant clothes opens the door.

"I was told I could find Raphael Santiago here," I tell him. He moves so as to let me pass.

"Raphael, you have a visitor," he calls out and closes the door.

Raphael steps out from one of the many rooms, I run over to him and hug him. "Raph, I've missed you. Why didn't you call? I thought something happened to you!" I get a better look at him and he's pale, "why are you so pale? Are you sick? Oh my gosh you're sick! Raph you could've-" I start rambling.

"Y/N! It's okay I'm fine amor," he cups my cheek with his hand and I lean into his touch... "Why are you so cold?"

"Mi amor, I don't think we should be together anymore," I pull away and look at him.

"What?"

"We should- we should stop seeing each other. Go our separate ways," he looks at me with utmost seriousness.

"Raph, no. I love you Raphael! You can't just break up with me Raph please... don't do this to us," I beg him.

"I'm sorry Y/N," is all he says before turning and walking away.

I stand there tears flowing down my cheeks, "did you even love me?"

He stops and looks back, "no," and he keeps walking.

I stare after him before wiping my tears and leaving the apartment. I walk home, thinking of Raphael and what he said., it hurts to even think about it. How could he not love me after the two years we spent together? How could he just walk away from us like that?

My phone starts ringing and I answer it hearing my mom's voice on the other end. "Honey are you almost home? You need to start packing sweetie."

"Packing?" "Yes honey. Your dad got a job offer in London, we're moving to London Y/N," she says with excitement. "That's amazing. I'm almost home," I respond. I hang up and walk the rest of the way home.

I get home and go to my room pulling out my travel bags. "Sweetie be sure to pack what you need, leave what you don't. We'll leave tomorrow afternoon." Mom says as she walks by my room.

I pack some clothes, shoes, my books, movies and a photo album. I was debating taking the album because it mostly had pictures of me and Raphael, I didn't want to leave it behind so I left a one of my favorite pictures behind. It was one we took on his birthday, we were both so happy.

I laid in bed and fell asleep, tomorrow couldn't come any sooner.

Mom woke me up around 8 in the morning, we packed everything in the car and we drove to the airport. I was lost in my thoughts so I didn't pay attention to what was going on. We go on the plane that lead to a new life.

Three Years Later

I was being sent by my coven to meet with the head of the New York Clan. I was reluctant because that meant going home but my leader said I had to go so I went.

We had our resident warlock create a portal for me, "Go to Hotel Dumort" was all my leader said before I stepped through.

I stood in front of what looked like a shut down hotel but I knew better. A vampire came down and told me to follow him, we got in through a side door and he lead me to a very lavish room. Is that a gold couch?

"You must be from the London Clan," I stiffen hearing that voice, no matter how much I tried I could never forget it.

I turn around rather slowly and look into a familiar pair of brown eyes, "Raphael?" I whisper.

He stares at me for a moment before he looks down at my neck, "Y/N?"

"You're the leader of the New York VAMPIRE Clan?!" I nearly yell. "Your a VAMPIRE!!" I yell at him.

"So are you," he sass back. I run over to him and shove him into a wall.

"YOU COULD"VE TOLD ME!" I grab him by his jacket and throw him across the room. "YOU LEFT ME RAPHAEL!!" I take notice of the other vampires there, one of them tries taking a step forward, I snarl at him baring my fangs.

"Stay back," Raphael orders. I turn to him.

"You told me you didn't love me, you walked away from me! Do you have any idea what that felt like!! To think the man I loved with all my heart and soul didn't love me back!!!" I feel the tears go down my face.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't tell you about what I had become. I didn't want to put you in danger amor. Perdoname, porfavor." He comes closer, pulling me into his arms and letting me cry against his shoulder.

"I tried to hate you but I couldn't. I tried to forget you and I couldn't. You were my first and last thought," I admit.

"Perdoname, te promete que nunca te dejare." (I'm sorry, I promise to never leave you). He whispers into my hair. "Stay with me, leave your clan and stay with me," he says.

"I'll have to make a few calls," I mumble into his shoulder. "But I'll stay, if you want me to."

"I'll always want you mi amor. I want you by my side for all eternity," I look up and see a smile on his face, I smile back.

"Let's get you settled in yea?" I nod and he picks me up bridal style, taking me somewhere into the hotel. I'm glad I came home.
