Eric seeing you with makeup for the first time and being amazed

Eric was staring at you from across the room. You looked different. Of course you always looked great but today he couldn't help but stare. He almost hadn't recognized you at first.
„You look gorgeous today." Eric says when he walks up to you on the bar while you're ordering your drinks.
„Did I just enter an alternate universe or did you really make me a compliment?" You say and turn towards him with a smile.
Eric rolls his eyes, „It's not that rare most people juts don't deserve it and I can't possibly compliment myself all the time."
It sounded like a joke but somehow you doubted it was meant as one, he'd never get tired of hearing how great even if it came from himself.
„Are you joining us?" You nod over to where the others are standing and give him a questioning look.
„I'd rather not."
„Come on they are your friends too."
„Not all of them."
You grab his arm and pull him with you before he can protest any more, „Don't worry my beauty will overshadow everything."
„See? That's why I don't tell you stuff like that, it gets to your head."
„Well of course it does, it's not every day I get a compliment from you." You give him a bright smile while you tug at his shirt to get him to follow you, „That would get everyone flustered."
