A/N: This will most likely be shit.

John POV

Oh my god. This is where my life ends. This is where I'm going to die. A freaking airport.

gah gah gah. I hate hate hate airports. They're so crowded and gross and they spike my fricking anxiety. I'm s'possed to be meeting some of the group at- checking texts- gate 23B. I look over my shoulder.

"Hercules, leave James alone!" I scold, sighing. Hercules has been doing this thing where every five seconds he pulls James underneath his arm and noogies his head. We had taken three different cabs to get here, and now everything was a mess. Alex and I got separated, and I got stuck with Hercules and James, who don't even get along well, along with Angelica, who hates travelling. "C-c'mon, c'mon, you guys. We're gonna be late!" I hear sighs and groans as we speed through the crowds of people in this dam airport.

We were going to just walk to JFK, but now we're going to this cheaper, faster one, the somethin' V-bla-bla Nadel airport. Or something.

LIT-erature: we're all here where r u??

Yes, Alex started to actually text instead of writing freaking essays. He finally figured out that it's quicker and easier.

LIT-erature: hey, r u guys stuck in traffic?

LIT-erature: k, actually getting worried here.

LIT-erature: Call me when u get 2 the airport, k?

And yes, I've been leaving him on read. I know that's like the worst thing to do, but for some reason I don't feel like talking to him much. He's been staying out later, being distant, not talking to me, and I'm too proud to ask him why. That and my dumbass anxiety. Like, name a more iconic duo: depression & anxiety. Fite me, bitch.

"Hey, can we get Cinnabon?"

Ugh. "No, Herc."

"But I'm hungryyyyyy

"Then starve." I reply as i dodge and man and swerve around a panicked looking family. i hate this i hate this i hate this. Ah, here we are. We walk up, pulling our suitcases behind us, to the rest of the group. I see Alex looking at me and avoid his eyes. "Hellooooo, everybody!!" I say as I lean to hug Maria and Eliza. Why don't I just act normal around him? I can do that. Right?

"Gah!" squeals Peggy. "I'm so excited!" Maria hugs her from the side and looks around at all of us. "So do you all know who's where?" She asks. Aaron nods and rattles off where we all go.

"Kay, so Thomas and Jemmy are going to be on the window and isle seat- they're three across remember- and I'm with Lee, who's next to Seabury, and then there's Peggy and Eliza in a row, and Hercules, Laf, and Maria are together, and Angelica is by herself."

"As usual..." She grumbles. I feel a bit sorry for her.

"What about us?" I say, pointing to Alex and me.

"Oh, yes, You two have the middle and window seat, y'all can pick who sits where, but there'll be someone else in the isle." Kay. I can deal. Just breathe.

"We have to get in line!" Jemmy says, tugging on Thomas's sleeve. The boarding lady begins calling groups and such. I don't even know how it works. It doesn't make any sense! They sell more seats than there are on the fucking plane. What is the point of that. I get squished between Lafayette and Thomas, which is like getting surrounded by giants during a basketball game. Not that I know what that's like...

About an infinity of boredom later, we're at the front of the line and hand our tickets over, getting stamped.

"Big group, huh?" Says the lady as she punches random thingies on her keypad. Could this take longer? I manage a jerky nod and get out of there, running down the tubey thing to get to the plane. Someone grabs my shoulder and I turn to see Alex.
